Good job on the review. I don't have issues on the case hinges tough. It doesn't shut easily. I see that you also got the same TWS1 Pro Chinese version as me. So maybe the problem with yours is from factory?
Facing same issues too charging pins not steady, lack of gaming mode, doesnt feel secure but overall best in battery life, fast charge capability ad well balanced sound perfomance.
Yup, I used to have the TWS1, same problem with the earbuds not charging after I put them in the case. After a year, it gets worse. After I confirmed that they are charging, I proceed to close the case and place it down somewhere, and when I check my phone, it started connecting to my phone again. It's really annoying to me. Other thing I don't like about the TWS1 is the touch controls, it's too sensitive, it would pause the video when I moved my head a little, I think my ears barely touched and it registered as a touch input. It's really annoying. That's why I moved on with the Fiil T1 Lite.
Awesome, comprehensive review. I completely agree. If I'd seen your review (and they were available at the time) I may have gone for the sonic pros but I have had them for 3 months and I find them perfect for me. I listen to vocal led music like folk music and also complex layered stuff like Radiohead. Their clarity is perfect for that. I also like to listen to lots of podcasts and UA-cam and I find the vocal focus perfect for that. The aptX adaptive works really well for me with no drops on my OnePlus 8 and with great latency. The latency is still good even when gaming. There is sometimes some shrillness and I'd prefer more balanced buds but the sound works for me. As for the gripes. The case is so annoying. The lack of app means I only find out I need to charge the case when it's dead. I have a silicon case so it won't stay open. Luckily they fit my ears but the sounds varies dramatically depending how they sit in my ear and they need some fiddling. The battery life is amazing though and I've dropped them in the sink a couple of times so glad of ip65 rating! The mic quality is great inside for zoom/Skype/meet but outside is pretty bad with wind noise killing the quality. For £30 they are very much worth it.
This is the best video I've seen on UA-cam for the TSW1 Pro. I especially liked the sound quality section where you explained how each music genre sounds on the earbuds. Super helpful!
Thanks for the review. Your warning on the power issue reared it’s head on my very first use. The left bud ran out of power and dropped when my phone indicated 48% left on charge. I returned it immediately. Funny how we never hear this issue from other reviewers.
I know you don't have them anymore but the have a master slave set up so when the battery gets to 60 percent I put back the 1st earbud I took out and it makes the other one the master and they will die really glose to each other but even if you don't do that you still 12 hours
They do have a major engineering blunder built in: they only turn on when there is power in the case. So imagine: you leave them in the case until the case battery is empty. Now the buds are fully charged. And... they don't turn on at all, not until you plug the mains back into the adapter. But maybe I'm missing someting.
After watching several reviews of the Edifier TWS1 Pro, I decided to buy a pair and was slightly disappointed and ultimately returned. The highs (treble), especially the "S" sound, was too bright/piercing for my tastes. I loved the sound of my Earfun Free Pro so maybe my ears are just used to that sound signature. Secondly, no matter which eartips I used, it kept falling out of MY ears. Fit is always subjective but I wish these had a pair of earfins for more stability. Lastly, the mic/call quality is just average. It doesn't lessen background noise like my EarFun Free Pros. I wish one of these manufacturers would make buds with better range too. 33ft is just too short. Battery life is great tho.
Got mine today. Good sound, great isolation, going at it for 3 hours, battery Still holds up. Its Comfortable and have no issues. One thing is that i lose connection when i distance myself to 10 -15 meters, but thats fine by me.
@Plank Scale yes i still use them. They are holding up quite well. I do have a slight isue. They wont connect automatically on my phone, i gotta do it manually every time. But thats not a big deal, and it could be do to my phone anyway
Recently had to search some cheap buds for sleep and stumbled upon these since i already own the W240TN and enjoy the sound of those. I also face the lid problem, it seems there is no spring and they dont open enough to stay open. They also aren't compatible with the app, which is a shame. Other than that, i only have praise for them. Very comfortable and secure in the ears, way better sound than i expected, long battery life, fast charging is nice and something more expensive buds are missing, the connection is always fast even after using other buds, something i always have trouble with others and i need to connect them manually. For 30€ i paid for them, i give them a 9/10.
Been using the tws1 pro for 2 years now . I have no regrets buying it. -Battery life is huge, i only charge once in 2 weeks -bass is Excellent, best for bass lovers -light, its not heavy felt on your ears -build quality, the device fell from my pockets a dozen times still working perfectly.
@mtbman5407 thanks bro. So many reviews saying they don't have much bass making me wanna cancel my order. I prefer nice bass for a decent price, but I picked the edifier cause they were $27.
@@Babybacktillery maybe they don't know how to tweak their equaliser to boost better sound quality. I've customized my Spotify equalizer to a V pattern, making it sound better. Boosting bass and treble.
Finally picked up the Edifiers to see for myself what the 'quality' buzz was about. Yup they're BRIGHT AF😲 out the box, but with some EQ I've dialed in a deep punchy bass* that's still fast, smooth mids and carved out a *highly* detailed non fatiguing top end. One of my favorite buds now and battery life is amazing. *I also had to mod the rubber eartips by poking tiny vent holes through the cylindrical section just under the 'umbrellas' with a hot needle. This in effect creates ports which relieve that uncomfortable pressure feeling inside the ear canal. And I'm guessing also allows the driver somewhere to vent air like ported buds do. Improves bass slam and feels better imo.
These sound very good and I c/s them..still got mine. The other $40-50 ones that are excellent and I use more than any other ear buds are the Backbay Tempo 30..super loud..individual use buds..can control everything with tap/2x tap/3x ..no ANC but it get so loud, you kind of don't need it. You can out that window down and the wind won't take that loud ass sound away...lol.

Yepp, bought one By kenneth recommendation, not dissapointed at all. Just one annoying problem after a week, the battery from the compartment dry itself up without any reason and bring along the buds with it although I remember correctly putting the buds in on 78% of battery the day before and make sure that the bluetooth disconnected after closing the lid. A bit weird... And btw, Kenneth as newly TWS owner Im a bit confused of storing the buds the right way. Do I have to putting it in inside the compartment everytime I finish using no matter the battery level is or Id rather wait until certain level of battery capacity on my buds and then put it inside the compartment ? Wanna knew what can maximised the age of the TwS battery (my old earbuds, anker soundbuds curve, still have decent battery life after 3 years of regular usage without any special care from my side)
U saved me from buying Haylou T16 (cuz u r like the single person that kinda trashed them lol) and me watching the vid about Edifier TWS1 Pro made me order them (cuz u said many many positive things about these buds and almost no negative things). My buds are getting delivered on Monday, let's hope they are as good as you (and many other reviewers) said. 🥰
The earbuds are here. They are definitely way way better than my old JBL T160BT. They are clean, the bass is punchy, but.. U need eq for them so they can work the best, got myself the Wavelet eq, since there's no TWS1 Pro auto eq, i was looking for alternative setup and found out that Edifier TWS6 auto eq works very good with these. Put it in legacy mode. Made bass setting to +5 db gain so the bass is richer. I'm also using Dolby Atmos build-in eq, set the mode to Music and picked my personal eq, cuz balanced mode made the sound muffled. That combination gave me the best result so far. If anybody has better wavelet eq setting u can share it.

Hi, just a question. Do the buds need to both be paired on the device (meaning they will appear as Edifier TWS Right and Edifier TWS Left) rather than as one (Edifier TWS). And what about the mono mode? Sorry this is a bit of an issue with me.
I mostly listen to music on my Android and find these buds are more stable by switching to SBC. Aptx/HD causes loss of audio one side, dropouts on the other and crackling in both. This has sometimes happened after something else takes audio focus, like a notification, watching video, or especially after pausing music for a while. This all goes away with SBC. I do notice the charging pin/contact issue - letting the magnet 'pop' the bud in seems to remedy that. Other than that, so far so good, but it's early days. These things can be EQd to sound pretty awesome. The brightness gives a lot of headroom to play with.

Hello, a year or two ago, after watching your video, I bought haylou gt1 plus headphones, after your next movie I bought a haylou gt1 pro case for it, they served me well. However, I have noticed that recently, when I am away from home, my headphones are interrupting when, for example, my phone is in my pocket, or when I use a smartwatch. I wonder if these edifiers here have a good range. And outside when, for example, the wind blows, it won't interrupt my songs? Greetings.
I really love this earbuds, have them since late january and man o man, if they had transparency mode they would be my favourite pair of earbuds (that i own), since i love the tuning of this buds, though i still kinda prefer the Fiil T1 lite when listening to instrumental songs, classical music and overall most songs with no vocals. Nice review, Kenneth. I also have the Chinese version and later purchased (june) the global version, but yeah mics aren't great in the Chinese (or maybe the ones available for purchase in early 2021) version, much cleaner sounding in the "upgraded" global version of this buds.

Ahh comfort wise it really depends, but for my ear the FIIL T1 Lite sometimes slip out (thus why I prefer the T1 Pro with earfins). Sound quality I don't really like the harsh trebles on the Edifier though, so FIIL any day for me
oh wow, aside from its many flaws, the mic tho! to me, it sounds better than the apple's one! sure it cancels more noise, but the voice from edifier's mic still sounds much more clear! but yeah, that's about it 🙃
It's decent here but in my mic test shootout it's not really great, also it struggles with loud background noises one time I was in a supermarket and my wife had difficulty hearing what I said I had to change to my phone's mic Sound quality should be the main reason why anyone would buy this ✌🏻

Sir is there an option to turn on the buds manually? or it will just automatically turn on when takes out of the case? Like what if the case got batt empty. Technically the buds are dead also because you cant turn it on? 😐
I had the regular version with the old big case. I lost the right one but they were great earphones. Going to order the pros. Battery was great at first but got worse over time but that's fine by me. Sound quality was great, bass could be better but they're like what, £40?

@@namedkenn Okay, but when it comes to it's performance during calls, especially the mic, and reduction of the noise, which is better? I've watch your other videos but I'm still undecided. Nice videos, by the way! :D Keep it up!
Between these and the SOUNDPEATS H1, which is a better option ?
Mainly in terms of sound quality .
I also have this doubt.
Great review. Very Intuitive 👍
Great Review!
Any chance we can have a review of Edifier TWS330 NB. Heard the mic test and i think it's nice especially cut the lound backgroud noice and baby crying or dog bark at the background.
Wish to see your review in the near future!
Pls keep it great review like this (and the video that test 20 of TWS buds side the road)
Edifier TWS1 Pro or Realme Buds Air 2?
Whats the difference between the chinese version and the global version
@@yassinemabsoute9701 Chinese voice prompts when making use of the touch controls and slightly worse mics... That's (mostly) what differentiates the Chinese and the Global release.
@@nosardines so if i get the chinese version the sound will be the same , but i’ll hear someone telling me in chinese that i skipped a song ?
@@nosardines also man thank you , im indecisive about getting tws1 pro chinese version or soundpeats trueiar2
@@yassinemabsoute9701 Yep
Have you tried the Creative Outlier v3 by any chance? Any thoughts on the differences in sound?
Hello Kenneth👋, what is the best option between these edifier tws1 pro for $38, the haylou w1 for $44 or the soundpeats mini pro for $49?
If you value ANC/transparency then get Mini Pro but otherwise I like the W1 much better than Edifier
How would you compare these against Soundpeats Mini? Thanks
It's good to see the shake head test.
Hi there, mr. Tanaka! Do you have a recommendation for earbuds under $100 with a PHYSICAL BUTTON. Had a terrible experience with touch controls that always seem to skip with the fabric from the hoodie brushing past it. Hope you see this and can respond .
Hi Ken: Edifier TWS1 Pro vs Fiil T1 lite. which one sound better and comfort level?. Thank you
Ahh comfort wise it really depends, but for my ear the FIIL T1 Lite sometimes slip out (thus why I prefer the T1 Pro with earfins). Sound quality I don't really like the harsh trebles on the Edifier though, so FIIL any day for me
Which one is smaller? Soundpeats mini or this? Ty in advance!
Airpods sound so much better and I have the same issue with the mic and the ApTX noise cancellation when using the Mic
oh wow, aside from its many flaws, the mic tho! to me, it sounds better than the apple's one! sure it cancels more noise, but the voice from edifier's mic still sounds much more clear! but yeah, that's about it 🙃
It's decent here but in my mic test shootout it's not really great, also it struggles with loud background noises one time I was in a supermarket and my wife had difficulty hearing what I said I had to change to my phone's mic
Sound quality should be the main reason why anyone would buy this ✌🏻
@@namedkenn ah... welp, good thing I ended up with these beans! Prolly gonna make a post to thank you for suggesting me those buds! 🍻
@@namedkenn Kenneth, ini ialah masalah utama saya.. wife marah kalau mic tak clear 🤣🤣🤣 please, jujur aja.. earphone apa yg kamu sedang pakai sekarang? Mic yg jelas dan tak dimarahi wife 🤣🤣🤣 (selalu buat outdoor calling). Thanks in advance bro.
Do you recommend this for its price point or there are other better choices within the price range?
What'd you got?
Edifier TWS1 Pro vs UGREEN HiTune X5. Which one is better for balanced music or sound and call quality (and Zoom/Teams/online conferencing)?
For call quality, get the Earfun Free Pro. Thank me later. 🙂
I’m battling to choose between the edifier TWS1 pro, fiil T1 lite or the fiil T1XS. Any advice or experience would be greatly appreciated.
I couldn’t choose between these too! But I ended up ordering the FIIL T1XS, gonna get delivered tomorrow. I’m so excited!
@@frncs.r And?? how are they?
After so many reviewing of many TWS I ended my choice to T1 pro. It doesn't support the latest APTX HD however it sounds better in clearer based on review even it is only supported AAC HD decoding feature and now I placed 1 tonight 1.
Sir is there an option to turn on the buds manually? or it will just automatically turn on when takes out of the case? Like what if the case got batt empty. Technically the buds are dead also because you cant turn it on? 😐
Exactly! This is a major flaw. Imagine filling up your car's gas tank, and it won't start because the filling station has run out of gas.
I had the regular version with the old big case. I lost the right one but they were great earphones. Going to order the pros. Battery was great at first but got worse over time but that's fine by me. Sound quality was great, bass could be better but they're like what, £40?
?
@@geno8079 ??
What earbuds you're listening now?
@@geno8079 I haven't bought these because the price hasn't dropped but I use headphones
Which sound better edifier twsnb2 pro or this or anker soundcore q30 ? Which one use suggest to me for walking to school and sometimes for gym
What is your top 3 favorite earbuds Kenneth?
Kinda hard to pick but I love FIIL T1 Pro, Moondrop Sparks and the AirPods Pro for its slick integration to the Apple ecosystem (bet no one expected that!)
Thank you for this review! Will now save up to get these. 😁 Oh just wondering how does this sounds compared to Sonic Pro does it mean the sound is better than Sonic Pro?
Great video as always😁
Can you do a review on the new Haylou W1? Please it would help a lot😁
Thanks you!!!!
How would they compare against Edifier X3?
Hey Kenneth, what would be the best tws with physical button?
watching at 2x made your voice seem normal. watching at 1x feels like the video was slowed down on purpose to make it longer for ad revenue.
Did you buy the Chinese version or the Global version? I can't proceed with my purchase of this product because the reviews for the global version says that they still received the Chinese version with Chinese voice prompts.
I really want to buy this pair of earbuds but I can't buy the Chinese version because I can only understand English and Filipino.
Mine are chinese ver, but you can use it as any normal tws really, it just has voice prompts in chinese, for manuals you can easily google translate it
@@namedkenn Thank you! I found a seller on Lazada that sells the global version. Thanks for the info!
@@aaronlouis2049 was going to get this too but I ended up ordering the FIIL T1XS
Love this. Thinking of getting this or the sonic pro but can’t seem to make up my mind yet. It seems this has more issues than the sonic 😩
Dont ever buy that sonic it has less volume

Can you review also the edifier half in-ear versions... Tnx!

The "selamat pagi" catch me off guard 😂
Hahaha mantap!
Do compare tws 1 pro vs soundpeats h1. Which has more base ?
Tge tws1 pro's sound is soooo good. However, I can't seem to get mic to work. Any idea how to fix this?
Is it safe ordering them from ebay?
Am I just a super bass head cause I don't think they sound very great. I agree they're balanced but personally to me it doesn't give me that excitement that I get when I hear a pair like the legendary E12 Ultras, so far they're my personal best sounding earbuds and idk why everyone has completely forgotten abt them
These have more bass than soundpeats free2 classic?
Not even close, different galaxy. Free2C are bass cannons, these are treble/clarity cannons

batt life of the buds in a single charge?
Hey wonderful man, please recommend budget King under 80 Dollars and the sound quality is priority. I am waiting for your response bruv.
Please check out my best sound under 50 video!
Since your budget is up to 80 then you can consider H1, FIIL T1 Pro as well as Sabbat E16
Do they fall from ears when working out??
For some reason I am unable to factory restart it and it's left ear is not working only blue light blinking not pairing with right side any solution?
How do you turn them off when taking them out your ear but not inside the charging case?
Usually hold the touch sensor for like 10 seconds, but some earbuds can't be turned off like this
