@@davidrogers6287 In the late 50's and early 60's I used to camp out on the Mexican beaches all of the time. Today I would need to take a reenforced rifle platoon, with me, to do the same. Some things, not all, were better then. Speeding tickets were treated like parking tickets. Pay the fine, no such things as points on your driving record. My last two years in high school auto shop I built, with the help of the teacher, a 1923 bathtub Ford Touring hotrod. Had a big Chrysler engine. Could burn rubber in all three gears. My mom paid for the insurance. For one year, seventy-five dollars. I had friends that built hotrods and custom cars in the street in front of their house. Try that today. I could go on all day, but I think you get the picture. No need to live in Disneyland in those days.
You could honestly pick any generation of music and be happy with it. There is something for everyone. but the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s were definitely my favorite. My dad ALWAYS had them on in the garage while he was building little projects for the house. I’d sit and watch and eat popcorn and occasionally help him hold something. I grew up listening to Country in the 70s and 80s, and Classic Country remains one of my favorites. I didn't like 80s Pop at the time, but I started listening to 50s-60s Rock/Pop/Doo-Wop around the age of 10. I later came to appreciate 80s music after college , but there was less and less on the radio that I wanted to hear. Сиквел (1979 года) фильма "Американские граффити" 1973-го года. И в нём нет грязи, насколько мне известно, как в израильской "Горячей жевательной резинке". Это светлый и приятный фильм.
This is the video of the 2nd movie of "More American Graffiti". When the gang was already out of High School and some married and raised families. John Milner was racing on racetracks Toad went to Vietnam and later went MIA. A good song such as Runaway had been picked for the video clip. Of course it's Del Shannon that's singing but this version of Runaway had been recorded in 1982 for KTELL Records. I had this song on a cassette tape along other updated songs with other artists. Del Shannon's voice is different than the original 1961 version of Runaway. Max Crook still sat in with his Musitron on this updated version of Runaway. Justice was done to the song when modern recording equipment was used on this updated version of Runaway. When Del Shannon started recording in the early 60's record companies always watered down his sound. Del Shannon had been an influenced on other performers and Rockers. His music will always live on.
@@symbiosisai in the movie like it was done throughout the 60’s John Milner had died. When they showed him racing on racetracks than it was 1964.
