10:12 thats me in the train with my brothers 😂 I was there the same day, every time we saw you we were in line somewhere, it is a nice little parc, we enjoyed it. It is a trip down memory lane with characters as Lucky Luke and Spirou (or Robbedoes in Dutch)
Based on the comics of publisher Dupuis in Paris. There was one comic that was missing here with Tintin, but the rights were too expensive to use in this park. Looks like a nice park. I would like to visit this too. Thank you for showing us. There are rumors that there will be a second Parc Spirou in Belgium.
Ohy god! The Marsupial!!! I remember watching a cartoon and playing a mega drive game with him in! When I was really young! 🤩 Looks like a fun little family park 😁
The Starshape is actually called Eviv-Bulgroz, which a scrambled version of « Vive Zorglub », Zorglub being the villain guy that you saw at the bottom of the ride
I love drop towers! They are my favourite type of flat rides as I don't like intense spinning rides. We have just come back from a Denmark theme park trip and at Djurs sommerland there is a new drop tower in the mexican themed area next to Juvelen coaster. It was really well themed and played mexican music all the way up and after you dropped down. Best themed drop tower I have been on and the force on the drop was great. It was a funtime one. Our inspiration for our trip came from watching your vlogs from a couple of years ago of course!
I was greatly bothered by your experience on the flat ride. I was going to congratulate Charlette for even getting on such a beast, but it turned into something else. You're both pros. I'm sure you were steamed, literally.
I'm a kid of the 80s, so I loved the smurfs then, and still like them now. As such, I really like when they pop up in your vlogs! Thought it was great they had a ride, although the best part looked like the models in the line. Also really liked the merch they had. And again, wave swinger povs are always great! Lol
Even Vekoma's modern family suspended coasters can have a bit more of a bite to them. Something from Zamerla or Vekoma could be on their radar, but Zierer has been working on new designs of their own so they could always go back to them
Is that Marsupilami in the thumbnail pic?! I loved watching that show back in the 90s. This channel can catch me off guard. Like when I saw Maya the Bee at one of the parks. Haven't heard a peep from her since her Nick Jr. days! 😂
I remember watching these rides go round in the water-park next door! Wondered what it was like... I think the water-park and theme park aren't owned by the same company, but it is very good!
21:26 I’m with you Shawn, I like drop tower rides like the cliff hanger at flamingo land, tower of terror at Disney World and Disneyland Paris and Falcons furry at Busch Gardens. I am with Charlotte though about the fast spinning rides and intense flat rides that tip you slowly upside down, I really don’t like those rides either. 30:40 Charlotte was braver than I am because I certainly wouldn’t have gone on that ride. I am very sorry to hear that they wouldn’t stop the ride when you asked and just laughed at you. Totally unacceptable and not funny 😠
Nice little park. Feel like they have 2 of the same coaster though. Same colors even, ha. Just one a little smaller than the other. Still, Zierer does good family coasters. Log flume was cool too.
The first coaster you went on (forgot the name my apologies) it’s a new ‘2.0’ variant of the ride the extra spinning should begin to occur more especially due to the one arriving next year at conney land in Switzerland (sorry if spelt wrong). Extra note: that variant of ride would strongly benefit camel creek but due to their recent event administration issues it’s hard to tell!
You are headed to a Walabi park next? Walabi Belgium used to have loads if Tintin theming and Tintin rides and attractions from 1975 to 1995 until they lost the rights. There in an immersive Tintin experience in Brussels along with a comic book trail in the city which features Spirou.
I remember twirling toadstool at Alton towers. Shame it didn’t reopenand returned and that they had to move the carousel in its place with flabios fandango
Fun Fact 1: The comic IPs in the park are all Belgian, but with a French-language original. Originally all published by Dupuis. Some achieved worldwide fame, such as The Smurfs. Fun Fact 2: Wanted Dalton refers to the same Daltons as the drop tower Dalton Terror in Walibi Belgium. Characters from the western comic Lucky Luke. Walibi Belgium had the IP until 2014.
Spirou or what we know as Robbedoes in Dutch is a Belgian comic character of the publishing house of Dupuis Paris. Al the other characters in the park are from the same French publishing house. My personal favourite is Guust Flater, Gomer goof in English, the laziest employee of the dupuis publishing house that is always up to somethings he shouldn’t do at work. The black oldtimer car with the yellow black squared stripe on it is his car, a bit surprised there isn’t a oldtimer car ride based on it in the park would be great with some funny scenes in it. I also like the lucky Luke comics or stripalbums like we cal them in Dutch. Even remember seeing cartoons of Spirou and lucky Luke when I was younger. There was the idea of making a Spirou park in Belgium, Brussels I believe but never came true. It’s very difficult as an entrepreneur in Belgium and to get permission to build anything like that, if someone complains over it, like a neighbour, you sure can forget it and to many governments to pas by, it takes years. To bad because a big theme park in Belgium that is themed around its unique comic history and scene would be great, like tintin, the smurfs, lucky Luke, Spirou and many others. This parks looks like a nice one with potential to grow. A major coaster and a major dark ride would make it one you really should go to as an enthousiast. Love how many supporting flatrides they have, that is something I mis in a lot of parks these days. Nice vlog and looking forward to the next new park you are going to on this trip.
I love drop towers!! Many of my family and friends are team Charlotte! The will ride everything but! LOL!! I am with her on spinning things though. Just can’t do them anymore and know they can ruin my day so don’t even try anymore.
Another splendid vlog from a new theme park! 😀😀😉🎢 It’s interesting to see an amusement park be themed around a famous comic strip. Parc Spirou definitely has the potential to invest in new major attractions in the next few years. I think that the park could benefit from adding a thrilling coaster, something like a Vekoma Suspended Thrill Coaster (STC) or a Gerstlauer Infinity Coaster would do wonders for the park.
The cartoon girl roller coaster were the girl is on a scooter the cartoon girl looks like a cartoon version of charlette😊 i love u guys have fun and be safe
Don't you get Lucky Luke (the cowboy character) comics and cartoons in the UK? I grew up on those in The Netherlands. I thought he was more famous. The Marsipulami (the spotted creature with the long tail) as well.
Wow i wouldve been fuming about them making me do an intense spinning and upside down ride that goes forward and backwards anddd in the sun TWICE. its easy for those to get too intense and blackout. Yknow the big tall ride at winter wonderland thats one lomg arm and theres seats on either end, the arm spins and then the seats themselves? Well i did that once (somewhere else) alone and it spun so intensely bc of light weight. It was hell i almost cried
Hi Shaun we are trying to watch all your recent Florida videos and I just was curious of where you stay because we are thinking of traveling to Florida in the coming years thanks 😀👍
Don’t you guys have Lucky Luke in the UK? That’s who was on the horse. I grew up watching him fight the Dalton brothers. And I live in Sweden. Looks like a fun themed park. Gave some nostalgia vibes.
@@ThemeParkWorldwide I guess countries order different stuff. And also it depends on the channel. Not all channels could run Disney and WB hehe but fun to see there’s a theme park for the French cartoons too!
Drop towers are not for me! They’re one of the only type of ride I will refuse to do. Well, apart from Sub Terra - I did brave that in April this year 😂
To me as a german it is always wild to be remebered that even people from England, which is not thaaat far away, have no idea about theses comics! Asterix is absolute huuuge here. And at least Lucky Luke is also a very big name, even though the last cartoon series or movie with him has been quite a while ago.
Such a shame the droptower is stripped of the awesome mine theming and steampunk theme it had when it was travelling the German and Dutch and even Belgium fairs. Also, the original plans of the park contained a Zierer tower coaster like Impulse at Knoebels.
Wow, this park definitely exceeded my expectations as well! Good to see that there are still many smaller parks who know how to invest and deal with immersive themed experiences. I saw theming, I heard soundtracks and I enjoyed nice ride POVs. I'm a happy man! It's a shame that some of the team members were a bit arogant, but that's sadly what France is known for. Thank you for the amazing vlog!
I wonder why the Z operator would not let you off, that is really bad but I don't understand his incentive for leaving you on there. Laziness or he thought he was being funny? Either way, that is shocking.

Please Charlotte, we the watchers want you in front more often! That was such a good pov on the flume!
Or maybe there should be a designated Charlotte cam. All water rides. 😂
It was great to watch Charlotte in the front!
Seeing her in the front was hilarious! Absolute best part of the video!
What a nice little family park! Really nice mix of rides! Nice themeing overall.
We had a great day

Wonder why tintin isn't used more often as an ip. Like asterix has an entire amusement park themed to them.

A Spirou park in Belgium would make sense as Spirou is actually a Belgian comic book character and not actually French!
