Is it me??? I haven't watched this video before. But after watching this performance and the World Championships, Meryl looks as though she lost some weight in between these 2 performances. Love this piece and they are without a doubt true Champions in everything they do!!!!
Yes, that was brilliant, also.....and when they were so young and just getting started. I loved that program. I totally became a D/W fan after seeing their "Samson & Delilah" program at 2009 Worlds, and even their "John Lennon" program before that; and seeing how they grew each year, presenting such diverse programs each season (whereas, nowadays, many ice-dance and pairs duos do almost exactly the same moves as in previous years, except to different music -- so it really doesn't matter what music they are using -- this was never the case with Davis & White).
Love ice dancing. But no one beats Torvell and Dean mainly because the profession has made it too athletic. It’s lost beauty and grace. Compare just dancing today to Fred Astaire etc and you’ll see the dancing of today has lost grace and beauty.
I love this program! Whoever says they don't have a connection, they need to watch this.

Usually your eyes are drawn to the woman but Charlie has his own presence on the ice. As for DWTS, his contemporary dances were awesome.

It's the outfits. The one she wore at Worlds is form fitting while this skirt is more fluffy. Also it was black, which makes anyone look slimmer.
