Although we may never know the full picture of what happened behind the scenes as far as money or abuse, what we do know, is that MJ said that he forgave his father, mostly because his father grew up in a similar if not worse household. If Joe Jackson was not who he was, the world might have never heard of the Jackson family and we may have never had the King of Pop - aka best singer/songwriter/entertainer of the century.
