Years ago I was traveling from Rutland Vt northbound on route 7 on a hot summer day. Around Leister a tractor with a brim full load of liquid chicken Sh.. er Manure pulled out in front of me slopping it all over the road. I drove through it. That is the worst smell ever.

I live in south central BC Canada and we see a lot more eagles now. I believe they were severely threatened by the herbicide 24D. Since it was banned the birds of prey of all types are rebounding. Thank goodness.

That ripper reminds me of the old plows before moldboards were used. One more part of industrial farming. I think that it would be great to end up with some of your produce. I know that it would be first class. I don’t remember seeing eagles in Pa or Texas. Lots here on the Coast of Maine; sometimes stealing fish from loons or something else that grabbed them out of the water. When I was a kid, we had a pair of eagles on our land when there were only about five pair in the State of Maine - before DDT was outlawed.

( we wear "previously stained" work clothes to " kick the day`s ass before it kicks ours" ... ) agriculture here in west tx is very chancy,.. the garden is being eaten by thousands of tiny grasshoppers.

Whats your favorite tractor of all time to run? If Both of you could answer that be cool. I still like late 80's Ford TW 5 tractor i had the most and next would be the 4630 i had before that.

8310 hands down. Last of the metal hoods, with all the comforts and convenient controls of the new tractors, without all the ridiculous extra electronics. 2 nd place would be ford 8000. For open cab work always liked that tractor, and 3 point hitch is great on those tractors.

hahahaha i drive and go all over the world a lot and one thing i always have to have is clean windows.. trash all over but nope gotta be able to see out.. see what is coming or going. And AND i got all my potatoes planted hahaha all 80 plants hahahaha and coming up great. And since that field flooded???? maybe what your smelling is some dead fish? if they are in the field it would be awesome just to till them in and use them as fertilizer.. Americans first.... my grandmother always said you grand kids go out and catch me a bunch of carp.. and that is what she used for the garden... worked awesome. plants flourished really well with the fish as fertilizer. Grandpa used a manure spreader years later to grind them up and spread them in the garden then tilled them under. Too bad he didn't have a chipper,.. that would have worked great. take care be safe have fun life is always an adventure. and you Shane and Bells farms are living one of the best.

There are at least 3 eagle nests that I know of here north of Columbus Ohio. Experienced a sorta cheesy Memorial Day moment. Was putting up our flag on a pole up front Monday morning and as I got done I looked up and there was a Bald Eagle flying overhead. Was kinda neat actually and so patriotic. Of course there were 2 blackbirds bugging the eagle but I don't think it really cared about the little birds.
