St. Jude has saved several of my family members. They do so much good work! I live about an hour away from them.
Found this two years after it’s release and just donated and got my dice tower blueprint!
i realize Im kind of off topic but do anyone know a good place to watch newly released movies online?
@@damarigeorge1412 I do but I'm not gonna tell you. They're pirate websites, so obviously I don't want to get them more attention.
Hey, just wondering if you still have the template and if you could possibly share it (since the website is dead and BMC hasn't shared it again).
I love that you show your "buggerups" and showing solutions. You have helped many and me. Thanks man.
Good to see how people like you help to change the world and change people's mind.
Your channel is perfect to help with those solidary causes.
TCG is a huge group and you all can make more things like you did in this vid. The true followers you all got so far will not mind of you asking for some solidary help.
That is an amazing indicative from you, and you can reach to a lot of people who are concerned about solidary causes.
I'm all for supporting good causes, but if you're wondering, 5:47 is where the promo ends and the actual instructions begin.
Thanks
yeah ive got no probs with the plug or the reason but coulda done with out the political guilt trip over healthcare
Thanks man
Also 14:20 project finishes and sponsorship BS resumes.
lmao I guess donating to cancer patients who can't afford it is "political guilt tripping" now.
Almost two years in, rewatching the first BMC video I ever watched, I've been a fan ever since. I try to use your affiliate links where I can, and I always look forward to your new uploads. Thanks for introducing me to terrain crafting, it's become a full on hobby for me since I found your videos.
I give annually to St. Jude here in Tennessee and they truly are a blessing to those in need. Awesome cause.....and oh yeah nice dice tower!
"I'm feeling pretty sick."
WHO WANTS THE PLAGUE TOWER?!?
A buddy of mine has been looking to buy a dice tower for a while. Looks like I can help him in his quest and now I have a new project to work on! I'll definitely drop a donation for the template. Great stuff!
Nice tower! Love how you do the corner stones. Paint job looks cool. You can make the dice drop over a small tray-style-ridge at the bottom to prevent them from rolling back!
2 Years late, but thanks for doing this man.....people here donate as often as they can to the childrens hospitals but it's never enough. They need all they help they can get and I know they appreciate everything....And the families would be beyond grateful. Thanks man.
I am curious about something: Have you ever done a thorough stress-test of one of these foam creations? I know it'd be hard to really smack something around that you'd spent so much time on, but I would be curious to know just how much they can take.
Crafters helping kiddos! Love it!
Just wanna say, this is awesome. Loved the wash at the end. It really did bring it all together, kind of like Lebowski's rug.

Never would Have thought to do one of these out of foam.
Gorgeous!!!
Awesome build for an awesome cause. Love your channel.
Kudos to Dice Bards for doing this. Donation and order both sent.
Thank you!
Big fan of St Jude, well done BMC & Dicebard..
I'm absolutely going to make a round version of this that looks like a wishing well for my group.
I've arrived late to the party. Is the template still available elsewhere as the page appears to be shut.
Thank you for this video. It inspired me to measure out my own template (because I wanted mine to be a little larger) and put your techniques to the test. The result was beyond what I could have come up with on my own, and your Mod Podge mix concept is amazingly effective. I'm already starting work on a second one to send to my friend for his birthday, and I may start making them upon request since my gaming group really seemed to like it. It's really fun to do, and it's the cheapest damned art project I've ever undertaken, much to the relief of my wife since this will likely become an alternative for me to buying expensive ass models that just sit around unfinished for months. $25 for everything I didn't already have and I have enough to make about 10 of them, if I cut carefully. You earned a subscription from me with just one video, and your other videos are starting to give me some cool ideas for future projects. Again, thank you.
I stumbled onto your channel a week or two ago. So supremely talented and the vids are always fun to watch.
Cheers
What a great idea. Hats off to both you and dice bard. Money on the way
Thank you so much!
You rock man, Just donated and downloaded the template. I know I'm a little late for the contest stuff. I'm brand new when it comes to DMing and crafting, so your videos have been a tremendous help! glad to be subscribed to you! I hope to make 4 of these towers before my next session. Wish me luck!
This is really great Jeremy. Wonderful partnership and cause and great build.
Thank you so much for promoting St.Judes and all their good works. They share they're research so they help kids all over the world. While you are thinking about St. Judes, please remember other selfless organizations, such as Shriners Hospitals, and Doctors Without Borders, they all need your help.
There is no shortage of good causes to help out. This just happens to be the one Dice Bard chooses to raise money for. I think everyone has their charity of choice, one that means something to them. Glad to help with this one even if it's not my personal one.
Thanks for all of the videos. I've wanted to build custom terrain pieces for a long time and your tutorials gave me the knowledge and the confidence to get started. Keep it up!
Thats why I do this!
Can anyone link me the page for the template? I can't seem to find it anywhere!
I'm not a D & D player but i love a bit of crafting. love the video. It inspired me to make my own dice tower (For my board game. dont you just hate when the dice rolls on the floor or under the sofa. not any more.. lol Also used your tip for egg carton for stone work
This is what I've been looking for! Make something awesome for myself and feel good about it too!
Good build and good cause.
Very cool of you man. And it’s crenellations which are made up of the two sections of crenals and merlons.
B-bu-... But there's no machiculations!
Alas...if only Shad was here to help.
pointy bits.
Roll for Damage - Shad uploaded today.
Black Magic Craft yep those are the merlon piece.
Great way to use your unique position! Way to go, man!
Hi, greetings from Germany. I build the dicetowerat the moment, and as add on I try that my "dice landing area" looks like a pool or well and second it matches my dungeneon tiles. My goel is to make it look as it belongs in the dungeon. I am afraid that I overdid it a bit ;-) Have a nice Week
I'm new to this game and I love your tutorials. Hopefully one day I can play it after I build some tiles.
Omg this is a really good looking tower !
Fabulous build dude. Can't wait to build one myself. I'm kinda thinking about doing a castle of greyskull look on mine? Thanx again for another great video.
Inspired, I made my own tower too. My d4s and d6s wouldn't come out. I corrected it by making a longer ramp from the bottom ledge and coated it with box tape so the dice slide into the tray.
I have a large heavy duty tube my hubby got from work for me. I would love to hear or see what ideas you would have for transforming it into an amazing dice tower.
I needed this. Thank you! Gonna make a resident evil 2 themed dice tower!
I am enjoying your tutorials. You all in the craft guild are amazing. I am having a problem. I am trying to make a burnt corpse on a sacrificial alter. I can’t figure out how. You guys got any ideas? Thank you.
On the other hand I am also making a table top dice tower that looks like a terrain for a rpg.
Cool tower for a great cause!
Great idea for a great cause! Love it!
Thanks!
Thank you for this tutorial! I recently bought a metal copper set of DnD die for my husband on our 7th anniversary and he doesn't use them cause his friend is paranoid it'll dent his wood table! So for my spouses birthday tomorrow I'm making him a dice tower. Oh boy im nervous I'll mess it all up!!
how'd it turn out?
purchased! 2nd time I've given to St Judes and I dont even live there. They do a great job
Thank you so much!
In my dice tower I made a slope from the back of tower to the front so that there is no bankroll under the tower opening.
That would have been better for sure.
Care to elaborate? I'm having a hard time picturing what you're talking about.
@SwampCritter Yep, but now I can imagine the money changers standing under the tower gates. :)
I'm a new subscriber, love these videos! You sir do great work. BTW, who won the dice tower? Wish I would have found your channel sooner. Please keep up the great work!😊
What a great video and project. I JUST found your channel and followed the link for the template, but it wasn't there any longer. I hope it is on your website! I loved this project! New subscriber here!
Happy to have donated. Great cause!
Thank you!
Love this video! Very inspiring.
I was inspired to build a dice tower for my husband because of this video.
I kept wondering if you were Canadian I'm glad I have confirmation.haha
Awesome! I placed my donation for your template. Great work, Jeremy!
Thank you!
Angel Devine bb
I can't find the dice bard website. It's reading 404 and etsy says it no longer exists. :( I am interested in the template though.
i love how the the wood looks on this build.
It can be a nice modular tower without the tray and a door on its base.
Modular castle anyone?
Just incase you havn't seen it: ua-cam.com/video/rbxYUDVwHtQ/v-deo.html
Excellent tower...Nice work!
Thanks Scotty!
I found this recently and unfortunately cant find the plans anymore. The link for the site is no longer available. Is there anywhere else I can get the plans. I want to build these and connect them with walls around the outside of my game mat...
I am a dungeon builder and have no problem finding whit foamcore but where did you find the black stuff without the paper
This is really my new favorite YT channel. So much great content for poor noobs like myself. I have one question though, what kind of foam are you using and where can I get it ?? Kidding !!! xD XPS ftw
Is there another place to download the tower template? I'm getting server errors for the dicebard.com site.
The links are down, how can I get the pattern of the tower?
i would really like the template for this but all the links dont work "page not found " is there anywhere else i could buy this ?
Just tuning to your channel awesome stuff, but I wanted the template for the dice tower went to the page for the donation but nothing is coming up, help lol?
I cant seem to find where the template is or even which site is actually working :-(
Do you use a hi heat or lo heat glue gun? I have a high heat but it seams like it melts the foam core
On my dice towers I usually make the dice collection area recessed so they can't bounce/roll back into the tower after hitting the wall.
do you still have the plan somewhere? i cant open the site anymore...
Wow! Love that tower :D
Thanks :)
The link to the template doesn't seem to work anymore?
Might the template still be available? I'd like to make this part of my model making curriculum (US High School teacher)
Links don't work anymore..... anyone knows where to find the blueprints?
I can't access the page to download the plans......could you reupload them please
Awesome Build!
Thanks!
I know I'm like 5 years late, but is there anywhere I can find the template? The links are dead, and I'd love to build this dice tower for my kids. Is it available on your Patreon?
The link to the website for the template isn't working. Was the link only valid while the promotion for the charity was ongoing?
Just found this great video, unfortunately the template link isn't working for me.
The links are no good anymore. Any chance the template could be made available again?
Is there a video on how to cut the pink foam into those tiny bricks?
Subscribed. Fantastic video
Fantastic 👌🏻
That's great!
Add a small amount of medium of lighter green to the desert tan, it really turns into aged limestone.
I didn't know there was such a thing as black foam core.
If you want to make it even better and not susceptible to siege damage by any players who happen to be using pointy or metal dice, cover the internal sections and the base (including the inside of the tray) with some of the adhesive backed felt...
I think no matter what you do, a foamcore dice tower would get destroyed by metal dice. Your best making the structure out of wood.
Hi, The tower is very nice. Could you tell me how I can download the tower template? Thanks
That tower is a beauty! Regarding the black wash, can it be applied from a spray bottle? Or does brushing it on give the best results? Thank you.
A little spray bottle works great. I do this sometimes myself.
Hi, I'm a fan of your channel here in Brazil and I would like to set up your dice tower, however apparently the dicebard doesn't exist anymore. Is there any other place where I can download the PDF? Thanks.
So this website doesn’t exist anymore. Anyone got a mini for that template? It’s 2021 btw !
Is the template available anywhere else? It seems that DiceBard is not a thing anymore.
Thanks Jeremy, just bought the template. Does the template reflect the size reduction you made on the fly or will we need to do the same thing you did?
I used the actual template to make those pieces. You’ll have to cut off excess same as I did. I feel like this is the best way.
Que material é esse que você usa ?
Thanks dude
I know I'm REALLY late here... but what should I use if I don't have acess to minwax polyurethane (not sold on my country, importing it would cost me really high).
I'm just starting with foam crafting, and living where I live, I have to adapt almost everything (like, I'll never use mod podge and I might adapt it to eva glue + water + paint :P)
Great Video as always, I have adopted many of your build techniques, building various structures, dungeon tiles, wooden floor tiles, cave tiles etc, and they all look cool, better than some of the resin floor tiles in my opinion, my group loves them and they add some realism to a game. My personal preference is I don't like how you do your bricks, I think your doing stonemasons a disservice, its a craft 1000s of years old, the pyramids were completely smooth until they robbed the stone. If I had employed the stonemason that built that tower I would have sacked him after a day... Have you heard of a plumb line!! lol, I use the technique of the floor plans using a pen to 'draw' my bricks onto a complete piece of foam, I think its also a quicker technique. I think I am going to have to start supporting your patreon page as I have caught the building bug now because of you. Keep up the excellent work.
I’ve built pieces with “perfect” brick work and I think they look really boring and flat. Those expensive forge world models wouldn’t look nearly as cool if the sculpts had all flush and same sized bricks. I don’t build to honour masons, I build to make things that look cool on my table while playing d&d, and I think this way looks cooler. It’s a matter of taste, and that’s the great thing about this hobby, you can do it the way YOU think looks good and I can do it the way I think looks good.
Black Magic Craft , your dead right, I have spent the afternoon today exploring the ruins of Denbigh Castle for inspiration, some amazing Octagonal Towers which I am thinking of using as corner towers of a Castle structure, just posted some pics of my first attempt on the facebook group using your techniques, definitely going to make this dice tower too, although I might make it so it can be used as a tower for a game piece and as a dice tower,
I have a question, I don't know if you'll be able to answer because it's related to getting the template, but here it goes. I bought it from Dice Bard a few days ago, expecting to be able to download it right away. But for some reason it said my order was "On Hold". I tried to contact them to ask what that meant, but haven't gotten an answer. I tried to order it again, this time without a donation (I thought maybe they were processing my payment or something). Second one was still on hold. So, long story short, I guess I'm just wondering if this is normal for getting the template or for ordering on Dice Bard? I know you aren't a part of the website but since you helped with this and I'm not getting answers from them I thought I'd ask you.
That does not seem normal. I'll let them know.
Thank you for your help! I just got an email about an hour ago to let me know my order(s) were complete now and I could download the template.
Hey I had this same issue. When trying to download the template. Mine is still on hold but I will wait for them to send the email
Mine is having this problem as well
St. Jude is wonderful. Sadly I cannot donate, though I would if I could. Their cause is amazing.
You can help by sharing the vid :)
See im not the first over the years to ask this but here goes anyway...
blast from the past..wanted to build the dice tower from the 2018 UA-cam video with my brother, using the template. Does the template still exist to be downloaded anywhere. The link in the original video no longer works, as you might expect.
Can I still buy this tower. The link on dice bard is not working.
Unfortunately not.
I love your channel
