Aw man... the first time I ever heard the roaring sound of engines at a race track, this was it. Our first family trip to the Cup race, and my sister said we could go check things out on the Saturday when we got into town. Got there just in time to see Mike Wallace take the checkered, then watched Cup Happy Hour immediately afterwards. Ah, to be 12 again. Thanks for this, Dave.
Gotta give it up for the #16, its driver, crew and Ernie Elliott for not only turning every mile or longer race into a snoozer but for keeping it running so good race after race and staying out of trouble all year long.

Interesting that this race continued on at Pocono, thought it was cancelled after it didn't work out for the road race at the Moody Mile
I'm from Syracuse, never knew they tried to run an ARCA race at the old mile. Thanks for the upload!
