I love mixing things that you would normally not expect to go together such as a dressy skirt with a graphic tee. I also love lingerie type pieces being mixed into everyday wear. These ladies have nice style but I’m not so into cropped tops and I noticed many of them are quite thin meaning most everything looks good on them. I also like mixing jewelry.

IKF!!!!! I love the idea of recreating outfits not just from other Tik Tokers but also maybe just pinterest. I love the process and see how people take a look and then go into their own closet and do their interpretation of the look. Please do this as a series.
I think I would definitely like to try the tuck that artofstyle does, because my hormonal belly that has developed over the past year or so is making me not want to tuck anything. That would be a great compromise. I LOVE that outfit that betterwithchardonnay showed. Why do I not have a quilted vest...or any outerwear vest yet?! You should DEFINITELY do a recreating your favorite TikTokers outfits video series!!!! I am exactly the same as you. I don't care at all about what's "in" or "trending", I am all about ideas that are different, and mixing different styles together. Fashion is what the world tries to tell you you should wear. Style is how you express yourself to the world. I love crazy layering...even though I'm just starting to dabble in it. B.JoneStyle and Chelsea AsOfLate are totally who got me into the idea of crazy fun layering and super crazy accessories. I'm honestly annoyed by all of the "aesthetics" for some reason...or more specifically the "cores". You know, fairycore, cottagecore, etc. OH MY GOSH, STOP IT!!!! I just bought a plain jacket that is almost just like that one Everyday Abby had on, from Poshmark yesterday, that I am planning to embellish myself as a DIY project on my channel!!!! How weird is that?! It's a different color, but very similar style, and I knew I wanted to add some super fun bling to it, to make it unique and fun. What you said about all of these women with the most perfect legs and aspiring to look like that in our clothes resounded with me so much. I am always on the search for women who have a body more closely resembling mine, who do fashion content. I love the "ideal body" content creators, but that's not really what I want to see, because it's not at all what something is going to look like on me. I want more creators who have thicker bodies, that I can relate to, and actually be able to envision what the outfits would look like on me. Vintage scarves are probably my most favorite accessory. I love Taryn Truly, because she is such an inspiration on how to dress the apron belly that I have developed during perimenopause. Being a woman is so fun sometimes. LOL I love wearing a blazer and a hoodie. It's such a fun look. I loved this video so much! Also...I can relate with the IKF ❤

Hey Jen, I'm self conscious about my legs too. Something interesting I discovered is wearing 2 pairs of small-hole *nude* fishnets. Celebrities do this all the time, and you can notice it in person, but not so much in photos! Maybe worth a try for you! I like it in the summertime, so I can feel more "normal" and less overheated.

Even check on UA-cam for different ladies went with fashion I think all of it will be interesting you can do a comparison because you even said you would do a lot of those styles with some of them you would have to do them for your body type or you might not have liked a certain thing but you found that you had something similar. You could also do a comparison for some of the higher in stuff some of those ladies had just showing you could get the same look and style out of some that were just cheaper or even used. Thanks.. I would also love to see videos of who you get your inspiration from, especially if you share how you utilize the inspiration in your own looks, etc. I follow a bunch of different people, but honestly, you're who I go to when it comes to clothes/fashion, because you don't show outrageously expensive clothes (I LOVE Walmart lol) but because I have learned so much from you in terms of styling my perimenopausal body (honestly I look 7 months pregnant 😢) . I finally enjoy wearing real clothes again after jumping from a comfortable sz 12 to all of a sudden sz 16, sometimes 14, sometimes 18.

❤IKF…I have THD, too hot disease to be able to layer clothes, wear blazers and/or wear turtlenecks, scarves, mock necks, thick sweaters, etc..
Which really limits my styling ability!
I loved this video although these women are all mostly really thin and nowhere near being plus size so I cannot relate to them as nothing they wear would look good on my Apple 200 lb body!
