I am throwing a shower this weekend for a friend. Here are some ideas if anyone wants to see what I am doing. I had a blast making the diaper cakes. I was surprised how good they turned since I have never made one before.

Showers have come a really long way since my wife's friends gave her baby showers in 1985. Since UA-cam seems like everything is made for Hollywood. What you've done is very creative and pretty dazzling. I'm just getting back in the game with my rocking animals. Fortunately for me, some things never go out of style but I appreciate your video because it helps me see how I need to step up and modernize my game. Thanks for posting.

Some great ideas. My friend just sent me a great little book from Amazon. It's called, I thought you little feckers were asleep already. She knows that I am having trouble getting my little ones to sleep. It is very funny but be warned it is not for people who are easily offended. It would make a great shower gift.

I have that ladybug (love bug) pillow stuffed thing. :) my best friend got it for me for valentines day cuz she calls me Ladybug. Haha
wow im hosting my sisters baby shower you are so good with the diaper cakes..how did you roll the blankets around the diapers? any tips on how to keep them tight? and where did you buy the angel on top of the cake? you did an awesome job very detailed i just hope i can do the same too :)

@jerrinjoy85 It all depends how thrifty you are of a shopper. You can get diapers on sale and using coupons. I found baby toys and blankets on sale at walmart and doller discount stores. Even thrift stores will sometimes have new items for sale really inexpensive. I think I spent about 45 on these. It has been awhile since I made these.
