As a long time plant player im conflicted about how my future combos are going to work. Aromas offer more paths to syncros but rikka have good xyz plays. Rikka tribute but aroma can bust up backrow and monsters. The hard part though is if we want to play a full combo we are going to need to find a way to always get LP with Jasmine out and we are unsure of the best easy way to do that yet.
Already found a combo that ends up on a simillar board as usual. ChickenSama replaced healer and dryas with a second Melias and a thraser and ended up basically with the exact same board we know and love.
I know the deck can still combo into Beng + Regulus + Hyperyton (monster) + Strenna and Princess, but that line loses Petal in GY for follow-up
I wanna see if I can start incorporating a lower ceiling Konkon-Winds control endboard, I think Sweet Marjoram is such an underrated endboard piece, but it's always so awkward going into her

@@Groxworld1 If what you are describing is the 1 Loci combo people alrdy found a way to get Petal back, you just special Mudan without Snowdrop, Konkon Glamour both 4's Strenna add back Lonefire Tribute over Strenna with Snowdrop Lonefire --> Petal + 1 extra search alrdy but you end up on Teardrop instead of Strenna (which is fine since we dont have Sheet anyways)

Cyberse and Gouki Players are drowning due to the Banlist.
(Gouki builds were Isolde Turbo).
There is a difference between Gouki and Warrior Toolbox.
Gouki is fine without Isolde, you lose a bit of power. But the Vernusylphs make the deck way less fragile anyways.

The biggest hope is the Flame Swordsman stuff. If it's at least got similar stuff to the GG stuff it should work, but who knows.

I am entirely upset that my dumb meme deck is dead because of the sins of Snatch Steal and let us be clear, it IS the sins of Snatch Steal. While Isolde enabled unfun bullshit it wasn't actually being under for unfun bullshit in any meta-relevant deck.
I'm ngl, I might just be scrubbing out but I think all the decks that were hit (except Mathmech) are gonna be fine. Weaker, but fine

I honestly thought the previous format was great. I suspect it will be one people will go back to play as I can think of at least 10 viable decks from it: Tear, Rescue-Ace, Unchained, Purrely, Mannadium, Labyrinth, Dragon Link, Floo, Rikka Sunavalon, Vanquished Soul, etc.

isolde bann is one of the worst things that happened to a low tier fun deck
I currently coping about circular being banned I love the deck they could just limit it two.
Funniest bit about this to me Is I decided to buy Tear for locals So I recently bought a lot of the cards including Agido and Kelbek (rip) like 3 days before the list dropped. insult to injury is they showed up the day after.
Close second was going to buy Ib seeing the card was five dollars, and then needing to refresh the page to get up to date listings and seeing it jump to 22 in about 5 seconds. highlight of my week honestly.
The problem with banning cards, especially generic ones, is that if they ever do decide to bring them off, it takes forever
If we knew circular was gonna be back in like a year I'm sure people wouldn't care, but I can almost guarantee we'll get sharvara and air lifter back to 3 before we get circular back to 1

The main negative for me with the Ban list is that it has made it impossible to play the actual Noble Knight deck, not the Fire French shit. And because of no players reaching top placings with Isolde in any lists they now decide to not limit the card so the deck it is meant for can still be played at any level, but removed completely. Killing 2 whole decks when none of them are even in the top percentage of recent placings.
🤡🤡🤡 Isolde was abused in a shit ton of decks.
The OG Noble Knights deck has kinda been dead for years (this is coming from someone that enjoyed playing the deck for a while), so I don’t think it’s that bad to bury the corpse of a dead deck instead of leaving it out to rot. As an enjoyer of Noble Knights (both the British and French) get some support in the near future, a new link 2 that’s actually in-archetype and not warrior combo, and maybe some crossover cards that support playing both Noble and Infernoble in the same deck (a spell with Charles and Artorigus shaking hands that summons one of them from the extra deck if you have the other would be super cool).

Nah the only good part of the ban list was the floodgate hits. Completely killing Tear and Infernoble while giving the best deck of the format a consistency hit is beyond laughable. Killing Mathmech was just undeserved and Rikka Sunavalon is in a pretty bad spot right now too and can die to a single Imperm/Veiler
