From 0 to 80mph It’s really hard for anyone to beat a VQ35 engine but Your best chance of catching up is after 80 mph but you Better hope your car has a higher top end
When the Altima driver said in 2 gear ⚙️ I was like That’s and the other guy lost I had a 2003 new Son Altima 3.5 SE but an automatic 1 gear and 2 gear fast 💨 I’ll beat Mostly everything but soon as the Altima hits 80 or 85mph Starts to hesitate the speed Trying to say it doesn’t pick up that fast after 80 or 85mph I got beat by a 2003 dodge neon r/t 2.0 on the freeway
Little late here, but I ended up buying an 05 Altima 2.5S. So the qr25de engine. Though the previous owner must have done some extra stuff to it. Whole front assembly was all shiny as if it was new. I oddly don't have any issues hitting 80-90mph. 80 to 90 was as easy as 60 to 70.
@@streetstunter3 damn how many engine swaps you going through? Those maxima engines make roughly same hp. You should had swapped to an HR engine somehow
@@jponz85 07-09 Altima engines were known for breaking camshafts and that's what happened with that motor after having it in the car for 3+ years with seeing 7500rpm multiple times, the Maxima engine in it now is the "3rd gen" engine and the best engine for a straight forward swap, motors are cheap tho these cars are mass produced. Also any VQ after 2007 is considered to be a "hr" but the fwd blocks are different than rwd blocks so it's still a "DE" but comes with "hr" heads stock
@@streetstunter3 went 216k on this 07 v6 6sp altima. Never had any crankshaft issues. I also have an 05 altima se-r and 07 350z hr. I've seen Altimas swapped with hr engines though. Yes these engines are cheap and massively produced.

@@HanabiiiUwU OP is talking about grabbing an 08 transmission and slapping it into a 05. The only issue they may encounter is wiring and mounting. Assuming if it’s manual to manual, wiring shouldn’t be too much of an issue. In the end. Not much money to do it. It’s mostly a direct swap.

Ive beaten a 392 challenger with a procharger, gt500 with almost 600whp, you name it. Also im still on stock block lmao. Cant wait for it to blow up and after get all forged internals and a built block :)

Yea it was a 08 Altima engine in this video so 2nd gen DE or "fwdhr" some people call it, car now has a 2016 Maxima engine in it

@@jponz85 never had an issue with the crankshaft it was the camshaft that broke, they will last if you dont have the redline set higher like I did.
