I seldom write on any of the vids that I watch... but, I must tell you... I really like your videos... but, the BEST part isn't just the content or your sweet personality.... BUT, I really like when videos just start and you don't have to watch all those silly enteries.... you know, the ones that try to make them look like a real TV show... what a waste of time for them to make them and for us to have to watch them. So..... don't change ANYTHING!! Your teaching is perfect... your lighting is perfect... your microphones are perfect and the best part... is that you don't talk about it. You just are one of us... a crafter. As Einstein said, "Creativity is intelligence having fun".... You have earned a "THUMBS UP" from me... EXCELLENT video!!!
We are all in this together right!? Thank you so very much. I never believe anyone is superior to any one else! I dont talk about my set up because I dont have a microphone anymore, it was too much trouble and I only have a window or lamp for light. :-D. My iPad is an old old one but seems to adjust the light ok :-D xx
When you added that darker green I thought it made all the difference. I could actually see it happen. And after reading your reply to Gaylyn, I think all the more of you. How kind you are. I stopped watching some Tubers because I couldn't tolerate all their apologies about the new high end equipment upgrades they don't know how to work yet. Or their divorces that never end in every video. I know people have trials. But..... So, thank you Miss Tracie. Talent and kindness too. 💕
This is super! I was trying to find my creative mojo & watched Cori D with her ideas to get out of slump -then saw this video! I had just pulled my paints out -BUT didn’t want to try anything detailed -I have some lovely brown paper-thanks so much for sharing 👍
Thank you very much for this tutorial, it is not necessary to spend a fortune to have beautiful things. I also really like Luise Heinzl's work, she has her own very nice style.
Tracie, this is absolutely beautiful, I love it!!! I do the leather look often with the packing paper...definitely going to give this a try!! Looks incredible!! I have a few special orders I would love to use it in!! Thank you so much for sharing another incredible video, your work is amazing 💕🥰🌼
Yay . I love this as I always have tons of packaging paper and use it for all kinds of things, but never did this. I have every thing to do it, so I am thinking that will be my next play.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! Tracie, you are truly one of my GREATEST inspirations!!!!!! Thank you a million times over for sharing your creativity and brilliance, never mind your cheerful and bright soul!! 🥰🥰🥰

Ive been playing around with grunging up paper but never thought of using the roller. I love doing this. Almost like finger painting when you were little. It’s fun!
Oh yes, I do love these papers. What grungy goodness. Also love the freebie page. Thanks so much. That first little scrappy journal was very different. Enjoyed seeing that. Have a great Sunday.

How would you use it? As a cover? As a page, ephemera or collage with leftovers? I made a small sample yesterday for accents on tags or pages or even a page tab free form like a cluster on edge of a page! Thanks for sharing this!!😍
Lovely papers! I love this process. I made a paper bag journal using a similar process and it turned out fantastic. I stamped the cover and collages rice papers over the paint. Thanks for sharing!
Fabulous Tracie! You make me want to go and use some of the MULTITUDE of packing papers I’ve been collecting! Unfortunately, it’s 10pm and I am in bed 😂 I also meant to comment on your previous video but didn’t. I, along with everyone else really do appreciate both you and Jay for all that you do for our community! Words cannot express how much you mean to me! Thankyou darling girl! X 😊❤️🇦🇺xxx
Thank you so much Tracie - I do use my packaging paper for journal covers etc but always use a brush to lay the paint down- never thought of using my brayer!!🤦🏻♀️ what a wonderful day this is going to be🤗 I’m at an age where brain fog is the norm unfortunately🙄🤪so I’m now going to embrace the brayer😂tfs Tracie👌🏻

I’m a fan! Really cool! I’ve heard some of my other friends (aka UA-camrs) talk about you but I’ve never watched a video until today. Definitely will watch more videos
When you said that you’re using this paper with a kit, I was wondering, which kit it was. Only reason I’m asking is because I am doing a fall journal now with a kit, however, I don’t really know how to incorporate my grunge kit papers.
Hello there, The kit I used it with was called Fancy Forest. This is the link: lovejunkjournals.etsy.com/listing/1210060522 Hope that helps. I do have a lot of grungy type kits and have used others in different journals xx
You are using a hard roller you get us off to a sect with the soft rubber roller we want to invest in one because it's stuffed you can use a smaller roller and still get a even roll happy crafting

Welcome aboard! and thanks x
This came out great!!! Is the ink one you use to refill you cartridges or is it a special ink? Thanks so much,🥰
Morning, The black ink is calligraphy ink in a fine tip bottle. the bottle can be used for a lot of things but I find these best for inks x
When you said that you’re using this paper with a kit, I was wondering, which kit it was. Only reason I’m asking is because I am doing a fall journal now with a kit, however, I don’t really know how to incorporate my grunge kit papers.

I have a small soft roller from TH but I prefer that with inks. This is my tatty roller for tatty papers. X
