What I enjoy about Kyle’s content is that he regularly plays 7000+ yard courses - I grew up playing sand belt courses in Australia in the wind and rain - all ocean courses - Kyle’s attitude is balanced - and he always remains level headed -
Wow - thanks Kyle! I’ve played about 10 rounds there - never had weather like that. But it is truly magical. Brought back such great memories! My favorite course in the world❤
If you're in Ireland for another few days, check out the Isles in connemara and connemara golf course. The isles is a 9-hole course on the Atlantic which is fairly tight and has amazing views and connemara hosted the Irish Open a while back. Weather is due to return to normal in a few days, so you might get the real irish links experience
Most similar videos have commentary "on the go". I think I prefer this narrated style. I think it gives you a chance to reflect more on what happened. Enjoyed this! Thank you from Southampton, England.
Great video as really shows how gorgeous the Old Head is as have played there a couple of times the past decade. Brilliant staff, amazing views and unbelievable course especially when you play along the cliffs. Had a brilliant caddy the last time I was there Dave who was outstanding while had the opposite experience the first time I played there, one of the rudest caddies I have ever had on my bag, Eoin. Anyway brilliant video as brought back some fond memories.
Kyle, I’ve been subscribed to your channel for like 3 years now. Really enjoy watching you play, I’ve told you this many times but I think you’ve the most talented golfer I have ever seen and now your short game and putting are tour ready my friend. You have done everything on the LD tour, I think you should focus on getting on the PGA, I would be so happy for you and root for you every week. Great video again, only one hiccup that crazy right underneath the ball. Can’t wait for Fridays now. Thanks again
Love to see you using the driver on a lot of these holes. Being as long as you are its easy to get conservative and just hit 2 iron. But youve got a weapon in that driver, glad to see you use it!
Love watching you play, especially when you play well. It’s fun to watch someone hit the ball far and play solid golf, and the positivity is refreshing.
There used to be a fishing spot down the cliffs on the left over 35 years ago and we'd hike down the side of the cliff right down to the water. It was nicknamed the Gun Hole. Great fishing spot long before any golf course was there. Dangerous thinking back but happy days as a teen fishing down there.
Beautiful day, not like Ireland's usual horizontal rain. Beautifully done, as Bobby Jones described of Nicklaus, you play a game with which we are not familiar.
The lines you have to take off the tee are just bonkers. :) it's amazing how good you actually drive it. Most people (non golfers) do not understand at 330 + yards how hard it is to hit a line or a fairway. Great round!
It’s so fun seeing you play so much better and consistent golf compared to a few months ago. Best of luck trying to get to the PGA, would be so much fun watching you play there!
Kyle, beautiful and amazing golf course and you played it wonderfully. The "rooster" BTW was actually, as I see others have mentioned, a pheasant. We used to have a lot of them on and around our rural property in California. They were probably introduced by hunters to the area as they are wonderful game birds and great eating. Cheers.
I played there on July 31st. Enjoyed watching you play, brought back a lot of memories! The weather the day we played looked exactly the same. Maybe the same day? When you play Old Head I was not sure if I was there for the golf or for the spectator views! Definitely a bucket list coarse!
Really enjoyed that video man, played the course a few years ago, so it was nice reliving it. Some of my drives didnt quite land where yours did. Lets just say I got my money's worth that day
It's great to see you on the Emerald Isle. I you got a great day for it and old head is an unbelievable course. I got to play it twice while I lived in Cork. I hope also you got to enjoy a Guinness or 2 for the Irish experience. :)
Solid round of golf on an intimidating course no doubt! It would be interesting to see the specs of your clubs when you get fitted, lofts, length, shafts..I think a lot of us would find that very interesting.
Місяць тому
I played it the same day. I was on the range hitting a few balls and Kyle was teeing it up 30 yards behind everyone else. I was thinking WTF? But he hits it a long way! Great video
Isn't Ireland beautiful. That bird was a male pheasant, not a rooster but you were close enough. I've seen you in long drive comps but you're a good golfer aswell, don't ever doubt that as your score was amazing on a very hard course. Your yardage is off the charts spectacular, and I don't know how you're still able to walk. Great video, and I think you're a freak of nature with that talent you have.. Regards Ireland.
I would love to travel the world and play all these amazing courses. That place looks incredible, at least we can see it through these great videos. Good luck in next years tourneys.
Awesome Kyle enjoy your videos. A question or maybe a comment, would love to see you on Q school though. You will certainly bring interest to golf not just long drive. Ok the question, can you do a video or maybe you did on old vids on your swing-like sequence and how you create so much speed etc, thank you and keep it coming.
Glad you enjoyed Ireland! Dublin man but west Cork is my home from home. A quick bit of advice, the wind while you're talking was very loud! Nice to hear it otherwise for the sake of immersion but not during talking!
Man watching you play makes me so sad because when I got to play old head I couldn’t see 20 yards in front of me the entire round due to fog. Incredible spot. I got so unlucky!
That's how Tiger terrorized the PGA when he joined the tour, course makers had to "tiger proof" their courses in ensuing years to maintain balance so that he couldn't just come in and dominate...it rarely worked.
That's a male pheasant, not a rooster.😂 you will see them at most British and Irish golf courses. Try chasing them on the buggy. You won't catch them but they will leave it until the last minute to fly away.😂
They can only flap their wings for about 8 seconds. So they only fly when completely necessary. Just enough to escape a fox or whatever. They flap for a few seconds and then glide. Sometimes I scare them in our garden by mistake and they fly off only to return 10 minutes later looking pissed off when they’ve walked back from wherever they landed.
@@marcck5597 Yeah. They only fly in an emergency or to roost up a tree for the night. The walk everywhere else. Takes forever for them to get back after they’ve panic flapped into the next field.
Really impressive. You should consider putting from off the green sometimes on a traditional links like this. It’s difficult to judge how a wedge will release sometimes.
Can't wait to watch this. I suspect Kyle takes different lines and hits different clubs than I did in May!! Edited to add: The views there are incomprehensible. I played two days and spent the entire time asking, "Can you believe this place?"
Ive played the old head twice luckily, i live about 90 minutes from it, and if theres ever a golf course that doesn't need to be photoshopped for your thumbnail, its the old head 😂😂😂 you've somehow made it less impressive with brown clay cliffs and putting the lighthouse at the wrong end of the course. Truely stunning spot, hope you enjoyed the round😅
I really like Kyle - seems like a really nice guy, and what AMAZING ball-striker, But(!) His short game would have to improve Out of Sight (!) for him to be able to compete on the PGA Tour - those guys have just AMAZING short games, and the courses are set up really tough a lot of time. That said, I’d LOVE to see him make it on the PGA Tour. Best wishes Kyle with whatever you do!
You mentioned going to see your stock yardages at elevation when you get fitted. I’m guessing you’re also going to be doing so with your current club spec to compare, but if not that’s certainly something I’d like to see.
Really cool video. I will encourage Kyle to pretty much never use lob wedge for short game shots unless it's an absolute necessity. Pretty much every shot he hit with it in this video and in previous ones is terrible. I don't ever pull mine out unless I have to.
Kyle’s on another level to those guys, plus 5 right now. Has a genuine chance to get in the tour if he works at it. Yep Bryan bros would be a great collaboration

Your game's looking so good man. This could easily be -7 or -8 under with fine tuning of your short game. Impressive.
The most holes in a row that I've seen you start with a driver. So fun to watch!
Your game has improved over the past year, lots of work I’m sure!
Awesome vid. Your mental game seems to be getting better and better. You hit some pretty intimidating tee shots in this one and made it look easy!

amazing shot on 13. Elite ball striking! You added 200 yards to the yardage and probably 2 strokes to the course rating.
