Can’t wait to play this. And I see a top 10 solo board game expansions list coming soon :) a list where you have expansions that are essential to own because it improves the solo mode

That’s a great idea! I need to think about it. I have 5 for sure that would make that list.

@@JohnLaRuffa it sounds tough to come up with 10. I was thinking Tawantinsuyu’s Golden Age expansion for the new improved AI? Not sure. Or Norwegians for Feast for Odin (although I’m not a fan of that game)?

@@realdealastrology9 those are definitely ones I would include!

I think Everdell Mistwood should be on the list as well - it provides a totally new & reworked solo mode, replacing the simple one from the base game

I played Expeditions for the first time today with the expansion and I very much enjoyed what the expansion adds to the game! I will likely never play without it again. Thanks for the video and your thoughts on the expansion, John.

I have played Colab and reviewed it as well. It’s a good solo.

It does add a lot of what looks like “left out” options from base game. I actually slow the beginning by only having the 3 touching tiles be up and others down. But getting to jump in ready to rock is great, especially for multi player where it could get crippled by 4 people all trying to go get cards or workers first
