They Kick ass, great guitarists. They sorta remind me of a 80's metal band from San Antonio TX called
"Dangerous Toys"
Santa Cruz are in the forefront of Scandinavian "eighties influenced metal" in my opinion. But there's also superb "newcomers" like BULLETRAIN with their excellent album "What You Fear The Most".

Finland. The only country that, in the age of trap/crap core/etc, still knows how music needs to sound like. Good job.
I have a confession. God, I miss the old Santa Cruz with Johny's doodily- doo.. You all know what I mean... Nothing against Archie, but the old Santa Cruz was one of the best bands this world was honored to see.
Even the drums sounded better, the whole mix was way more adorable.

And a load of copies of copies of bad hair metal bands. Yes, there were some awesome hair metal bands, but the music companies were riding that concept to death. Kind of like casting show pop music nowadays.
But it's nice to actually see a good hair metal band pop up again.

Why arent bands like THIS on the radio and popular
+Simzoid because the record companies make more money with Rap, Pop and Country in the states, same with radio stations. I went to XM/Sirus radio and never turned on local programming again.
Here in their home country, Finland, they are constantly on the radio. Well that's not quite a fair comparison because metal is mainstream here ;)
You Europeans say that BUT theres so many Dance raves & Pop music there too.I do believe there's More Metal in Finland than in UK or Germany

FINALLY!! It's about time 80's Hair makes a comeback. Best new song I've heard in YEARS. Chorus vocals finally have the right reverb/80's group scream to it. Hope these guys make it to the states. No way I'd miss them. These guys freaking ROCK!!!

a band from Finland (Finland has a most of rock/heavy bands in the world /per citizen). SANTA CRUZ was a one band of hundreds awesome bands (Universally 99.9% never heard from outside of Finland).

@@alexanderotey4283 the singer did something really bad (non of the other members said what exactly he did) and since he hold all the rights of the band they couldn't kicked him out so they all left the band during their first US Tour and kicked him out of the bus in the middle of nowhere.
Now santa cruz is just creating pop with guitar flavor. The bassist was now part of Bodom After Midnight and the other guitarist is producing now songs for other bands like Amaranthe or Lost Society

Great to see a younger generation embrace a great sound from decades ago. The 80's glam sound was so saturated though it was refreshing when a little band called Nirvana took a sledge hammer to the cases of hairspray that was set to be shipped out to all those riding the gravy train. The wave was finally over and few were able to make the transition. I loved it, then I hated it, and now it's awesome to see another generation revive it for those who never knew how very fucking cool it was to grow up in the eighties!

These guys got the time machine and moved here right from 80s.
This is probably the best "modern" glam rock song ever made. It has everything, the sleaze, the hair, the attitude and most importantly it's tied to a really fucking good song. I'm a dude and I've had long hair for going on 15 years now and I would literally kill a man to have mine look that good.

Awesome song! Takes me back to my 20's in the 80's. That was a killer time and the music will never compare to what it was then. Great to see you guys know it too and are keeping that music alive. These guys aren't the glam metal like Bon Jovi, Britny Fox, Faster Pussycat or RATT. These guys are like late Mötley Crüe, Skid Row, FireHouse, and XYZ. More talented than the carbon copies they hail from.

Mötley Crüe and Skid Row are no carbon copies. They're individual, top notch glam bands.
Mötley Crüe actually is among the pioneers of the style, they started out in 1981.
And it was bands like Mötley, that popularized glam metal. So in no way are Mötley a carbon copy.

These guys are sick! They might just be my new favorite band of all time surpassing my love for Guns N' Roses. I even got my 11yr old brother into them so much that he now fangirls over them. I can't wait till they come to the states again, i missed them last time they were here because of Senior Finals.

It's the production that gives this track and album that absolute, pure, gritty but clean 80's sound. This would NOT have sounded out of place in '88 or '89. A proper, and true throw back album!!!

This band had so much potential. It's a shame what happened later.
Google the whole story yourself for more info, but in a nutshell all other members quit the band presumably because of Archie's behaviour. Santa Cruz still exists, but isn't the same band anymore. The energy is gone.
This band is totally awesome and rocks the 80's fantastic. From Finland too! New or Today's 80s keeping it rocking and rolling 80's style.

I really hope this band is a sign that better times are ahead, times reminiscent of the 80's and early 90's when bands sang about having a good time, they could play their instruments, and they looked like they belonged on stage. I think I hear some L.A. Guns influence.
