It doesn't matter how accurate the bow is, if you're a bad shot, you will shoot badly. If you're a good shot, you can even shoot a cheap bow well. Of course a 900$ bow like this can make you a phenomenal shooter if you are already a good shot.
Oooo that bow is a beauty, I think I'll get one of those at some point for my bow collection (currently have 2 solid fiberglass bows and will be getting a custom pvc takedown recurve bow)
What you say about bamboo and carbon is correct if the bamboo is actually oriented so the power fibers are on the outside of the stack, as would be the case with a vintage Hill bow, or a Bamboo backed bow. Most Bamboo lam bows are nothing like that. The bamboo is not natures carbon, but more like natures hexcell core. The culm walls are split out and oriented in structural stripes so that the plank alternates between hard power fibers with lightweight pith for most of it's width. And being mostly pith it is light, but having the rays of power fiber, it is not easily compressed, which is what a core should be like, Given that there aren't any wood products that are simultaneously cross grain incompressible but light. Endgrain balsa core would be better, but it looks like hell under glass and maybe it hasn't been tried in this application. Under carbon the look wouldn't mater.
Wow, this bow looks and appears to act like the perfect RD Long bow. Is it center cut or more trad style shelf? I applaud Centaur Archery for such a fine instrument. I noticed you did not tell the tiller dimensions. It is tough to judge RD bow tiller. What is the upper and lower difference at the fades? or is that proprietary. ( secret information :) Your videos always reveal your vast depth of experience man!
Looks and sounds amazing. I hope that bowmakers will send their bows to you for review. They should understand your experience from the commercial point of view. It is hard to order bows from US without some kind of evaluation from local european expert like you.
What I wouldn't give for a bow like that. I can't use either of the bows I have. One is an old wood bow with only a 15lb draw. I also have a Kingfisher, it was supposed to be a 45lb bow. I know I can pull a 45lb bow easy. I work at a boy scout camp over the summers, and shoot their 45lb/50lb bows without a problem. But I can barely draw back my Kingfisher. So I'm guessing they sent me the wrong draw weight. I really have to get myself a decent bow one of these days.

You praise the bow but that kind of arrow-busting consistancy is all yours man!
