All of a sudden Toronto traffic is a problem? It's always hell on earth.
Well imagine hell on earth and now it's worse lol
Toronto barely invested in the past 8 years or so. Now they are playing catch-up with increase in mass population
Conservatives destroy everything
All done by design Toronto ain't what it used to be!
Your favourite PM came on the radio in 2015 during his campaign talking about how bad the Toronto traffic is..instead of investing the billions in batteries, a world class public transit would have been a much better use of funds
I dont know if Toronto could ever have a world class transit. so many mistakes have been made in the past that it would never be any more than a mishmash of different services.
Maybe Canada should hit pause on immigration for a while and let the economy and infrastructure catch up.
Maybe if the city had actual proper transit like European cities... wouldn't be an issue.
Hard to do when 90% of the GTA is sprawling suburbs.
Mayor sounds like a fool
Excellent! Let the traffic congestion get worse, and businesses will close down. Hopefully house prices will finally drop when we enter a recession.
oh ya, destroy the entire society to lower house prices. you are a joke.
Don’t worry Olivia chow will fix it.😅
Bike Lanes, construction, this is all by design, Toronto's war on the car
Toronto had many years to fix this problem. This has been going on for over 50 years
Laughing out here in rural NS. Commuter culture is awful. Cars are the issue.
How do you travel in rural NS?
This entire country is so inefficient at building or planning for anything. If only we had an actual subway system so that half of these cars wouldn't even be on the road to begin with.
Google maps always defaults to taking the Gardiner or the DVP when going anywhere across Toronto. It takes the same amount of time if you take alternate streets to avoid the main bottle necks downtown.
mmm... maybe if there is construction. I used to drive for a courier service in Toronto and I used to do what you suggested during rush hour when it seemed like the highway wasnt moving. I would get off and try to drive on city streets. it actually took longer.
There's so much construction on city streets that there is no alternative to just idling in traffic. Even the subway goes at a snails pace
The contractor doesn’t want to pay overtime? I bet alot of the workers would be happy to get some double time.
but then the contractor loses money.
Contractor don’t give a damm. They will just give the bill to the consumer.
The traffic 😫
Gardiner was always bad, we need another parallel highway
We need better public transit
@@Funk1880 public transit that stops at every stop? TTC - Take the car has always been true.
Infrastructure falling apart, 3rd world
