Such a shame what happened to Sears. Their Kenmore appliances were a staple in our household growing up and they were all incredibly reliable, functional, and affordable.
@@BoulevardHome Pffft!!! I have what I believe is a Frigidaire refrigerator that has been in my family since I was born and is still running to this day and I am 57. They just "wont" make them like this any more.
I have a 2005 like new Kenmore stand-alone range that came with a house I bought. The racks are porcelain enamel which I LOVE. They're a breeze to keep clean. I'm hoping these racks fit into my new range. My Kenmore range cross references to Frigidaire.
Iv never been so stressed on a washer machine got a ge profile went based on what appliance store sale rep recommended or considered a good washer to buy ( huge mistake ) I should of looked at the reviews of Complaints . And also went based on technician recommendations! I will be returning my washer . I just want one like my last front loader in kenmore. We did but it at sears lasted ten years would of lasted me more had I known how to clean it and keep up with it.. bummer now I don’t trust and know what to buy 🤦🏻♀️😱
I bought a new large capacity top load Kenmore washing machine with agitator in 2018. I bought a Kenmore dryer at the same time. They both work great, but there is some kind of spotting on the silver/gray background behind the control dials/knobs. I can’t figure out what it is and nothing I’ve tried so far will remove it. Any info on this would be appreciated. Thanks.
I have a real odd heating problem with my Kenmore when I have it on timed dry for 60 minutes. It's like it's in cool down mode until it gets to the end of the cycle and then gets really hot and won't stop on it's own. I've replaced the heating element, the thermostat, the cycling thermostat, the thermal fuse and the door switch. Nothing has changed! it's driving me crazy! Any help or tips on fixing the issue please?
Thanks for the comment, Tony! Here is some advice from Blake: "Not knowing who actually made the dryer it might be hard to answer. Based on what you have replaced, none of those items would have caused that type of failure. The heating element only gets hot if the timer or the control board send power to it. The thermostat controls the heat only when the power is being sent to the heating element. The thermal fuse will shut off the heat and not allow it to come back on to the dryer unit if it got too hot. I would probably think that if you have a mechanical timer that would be the issue. Sounds like a timer contact is stuck in the closed position. If it is a control board, I would say the board is bad." Hope this helps, thanks for watching!
Were you a fan of Kenmore? Tell us about it in a comment below!
I was a big fan of their vintage Kenmore washers. People don't realize Kenmore was as big as Craftsman tools.

😭😭😭
Our Kenmore washer just broke down. After so many years we are in the market for a new washer and dryer combo. So sad.
A friend of mine has a 1994 kenmore refrigerator that still works great
That's great to hear!

Interesting! My mother-in-law has all Kenmore appliances in her kitchen that were purchased many years ago.
We hope they're all still running strong!

Who made my 417.8110000 dryer?
Frigidaire® (Electrolux®)
Makes you feel dumb. Wow!
This guy is the worst communicator ever!
You need to communicate with more people if Blake is the worst communicator to you.
Yeah, they managed to cheapen the brand so much, they couldn't sell it off to any other company like LG. Way to go Sears. Stupid
