This is Edita Gruberova's voice. NOT Norma and all the Donizetti queens. She was one of the very best, if not the very best, coloraturas of her generation. Her Zerbinetta is a reference.

in alcune parti troppo legato, diventa pesante. preferisco un andamento più nervoso, più consono ad una 'bambola' .

Respirazione difettosa - canta ogni frase come l’ultima, si soffoca e non appoggia bene l‘emissione sul fiato. Inoltre, molti acuti fissi e sgradevoli. In natura aveva una voce splendida che non era mai all‘altezza della tecnica.
Nice but I prefer Maria Aleida in this aria, better high notes.
Opera is not a screaming competition. Maria Aleida haven’t controlled dynamic of her own voice yet, she is definitely never as good as Edita Gruberova.
