Thank God , for UA-cam. So that I can watch some basketball games. And not this 3 point shooting , no defense game now.

NBA on NBC!!!! Every time I hear the intro…..brings back 90’s memories. And the best intro ever is the Chicago bulls intro. Still get chills

I've been looking for this series for forever. It's the last time Jordan and Ewing matched up in the playoffs

this series was a lot closer than the 4-1 win indicated. Knicks played them tough as always like in the previous years. They put up a much better fight than Orlando did

Three UNC Tarheels on the floor at the same time. Impressive! I notice that many of the games in which Jordan played 1 or 4 guys from UNC are playing in the game.

Yes! Fast forward them if you want, but to have the option to reminisce on what commercials were like 30+ years back!
I mean LUCENT TECHNOLOGIES commercials lmao! Awesome!
Brought to you by Lucent Technologies; we make the things that make communications work. Hahahaha
Not anymore yall don’t. I watched a game between Nuggets and 76ers I think it was 1978-Awesome! No three point line at all! Post up game. No palming the basketball. It’s very difficult to break someone down off the dribble when you literally cannot put your hand on the side of the basketball while dribbling or it’s carrying or traveling. Now with the carrying of the ball being legal, combined with the “euro-step” being legal, and the pick up the ball and then take two giant steps sideways and backwards “step back 3 pointers” being legal, the pick up the ball-jump stop-then two steps move also legal-and no hand checking-
Well with all that-if you can’t score then idk I mean the combination of all that makes defending a person virtually impossible. So guys being 20-point scorers these days to me isn’t really even close to the same feat as doing it in the 80’s & 90’s. I mean seriously, anyone who has played any amount of basketball-even YMCA pickup game level basketball can understand how much of a nightmare a guy like LeBron or Kobe would be on offense or defense in the 90’s. I mean a guy who’s likely (I’m 6’ 195) so 6-8” taller and 20-75 pounds heavier but still as quick as you are???? With a handcheck smh wow. You’d never score at all, especially not 20 points a game. And imagine a guy like Steph Curry. Amazing as he is as a shooter back in the 90’s you can’t tell me he scores like he does now because he goes in the lane and tries to run off a pick and Rick Mahon or Charles Oakley is the defender who’s giving him the forearm shiver to give his defender a chance to catch up. Just no way. Now would Curry be awesome? Yes, I think so. But all that dribbling around and shooting floating shots in the lane and layups in traffic etc? Nope. You saw the BEATINGS that Jordan and Pippen took trying to get past the Bad Boy Pistons?
Rodman, Laimbeer, Salley, Mahorn? The 90’s Knicks with Oak, and Smith Mason Ewing Harper Starks all dudes who are strong and tough with the “no easy baskets” mentality I just don’t see all these lightweight Pool (warriors/Wizards) guys lighting someone up for 40 points in 1989-1995
I mean game 6 of the finals vs the Jazz Jordan had 45 points, the BULLS won the game like 87-86 not 143-135 with a guy scoring 40 it’s way different.

6:05 the 1994 playoffs were played at the old Chicago Stadium. The Bulls didn’t play their first game at the United Center until November 1994 Marv 🙄🤦‍♂️

Even though Steph Curry is a much better shooter than Jordan, the ball spins a lot more when it swishes on Jordans jump shots and it looks better spinning like that with a Steph Curry the ball just kind of drops in net, It doesn’t spin in.

80's, 90's and early 00's were the best in my opinion. I can't watch today's game much at all because all anyone wants to do is throw the ball around for 20 seconds till they find the open guy to air up a 3. Poor excuse of a game it's become.
