Thank-you for the hike. I appreciate your stopping to show us the wildlife of Yellowstone. And also picking up garbage. Can't understand how people would take that hike and thoughtlessly leave junk on the trails!

I have never understood it either. But there is always a small minority of people that don’t care. If we all pick up the garbage after them, then we can keep our beautiful parks nice. Thank you for your comment.

Stan , again I watch from my chair during cancer treatment and it gets me to the other side. I miss Yellowstone a lot. I’ll be training for a year so I’ll be able to hike around maybe not as good as you but I have you to cover the bases for me. I look forward to these clips daily and are instrumental in my healing process. Thank you …. God Bless…

@@StanMills Those are definite Ospreys in your video, a distinctive call too. I know them well, there are a lot of nests in this area. The nest in my video is about 1/2 mile across the lake, it is actually an old bald eagles nest. We can watch the nest from our deck. Three years ago we watched the bald eagles raise 3 on it. We are excited that the Ospreys have taken it this year.

Hey Stan, I visited Yellowstone last August and basically stuck to the roads, did the loops a couple days and some light hiking, (Norris, Old Faithful, Mammoth). What’s the best time of year and the best trail to take if you’re just getting started in the hiking hobby and want to see as much wildlife as possible? I did see Elk, White Tail, Bison? Fox, and Coyote on my first trip.
