Cayman airways is run by the CI government and those of us that live here cherish and are very loyal to them. On a side note they were the first airline in the world to ground their two 737max out of safety for crew and passengers.
I love my Country airline but to be honest we need to have updated aircraft from the video this is an old aircraft people want to travel in comfort and be entertained at the same time the aircraft now are offering so much on board for example wifi latest movies and more. Better marketing strategy and they will be successful with their New York trips. Less than half the aircraft bring full doesn't cut it and it defeats the purpose.

I took that exact same non stop route to Grand Cayman this past August 2019 from JFK on Jet Blue's Airbus A320. That was my first time there and it was beautiful, but HOT!!

Just returned last weekend; my first trip. Flew JetBlue from JFK. Thoroughly enjoyed my time there! Takes only 4 hours to fly and on same time zone as NYC, so it’s the perfect destination. Beaches are clean with soft sand, and everyone was friendly. A new favorite spot! ☀️
We go to Cayman almost every year and I love their airline! It just doesn't go to our area anymore so we haven't flown with them in awhile. I love their friendliness and the Rum Punch...it starts to feel like vacation right away! Sir Turtle painted on the plane is always a welcome sight.

Actually it was Cayman Airways, I know as we where on the last flight. Maybe China was the first country to ground them.

American airlines is flying there but I don't know from where.
AA flies to GCM from Miami, Charlotte, Philly, DFW, Boston(seasonal).
Mainly to Miami, Charlotte & Dallas
Daily flights from Chicago aswell.
Out of Miami and southwest goes out of Fort Lauderdale
My dream to go. Wish will come true

American, United, Delta, JetBlue, and now even Southwest fly to Grand Cayman. That doesn't bode well for Cayman Airways.
British Airways, Air Canada & WestJet also. They are also starting flights with Sunwing.
Why not?
