Alice Phoebe Lou is a true artist. We’ve collaborated with her since 2015, but this year it was important for us to scratch under the surface of her artistry.

Her music flows so well, almost as if it's all improvised on the spot. As you listen, you can feel the words being created, and just coming out of her mind and heart. Nothing insincere or rehearsed about it. It's like it's always being created live, right now. Fresh, deep, reflective. Like you're reading her personal journal. I love that.

The purples are magic. Alice is magic.
Her band is SO good. It feel almost like all her accompanying musicians are a part of their own band before this, and are playing her music. Just because of how tight they are and how solid of a sound.. especially how much it differs from her first full length album. I love it.

Alice is a discovery of those that only happen from time to time. She is superb, faithful to her music and every time it seems that there can be no more and there always is. The band is absolutely great. I love those Lyle Mays climates, the bass that is an essential part of the sound along with the drums. Sax and guitar fit like silk and that allows us to expand that music, it is no longer a band, it is a super band. I bought everything that Alicia and Strongboi have published because you have to support this music that is maintained without concessions. If you like it, support them to continue creating.

Saw her live in Dublin (Ireland) last October. She sounds the exact same live, if not better! Her stage presence is something I’ve never seen before, the whole crowd was transfixed.
