Daughter of smoke and bone by Laini Taylor is amazing. The world she describes is so different from other books but somehow makes more sense how she connects it with our world and the romance... Give it a chance!
Girl yes. I look at my shelf and don’t feel excited anymore about my collection! I don’t like the books I used to loveeee. And the book slump is so real. I feel like so many book recs are just paid reviews and aren’t very good IMO. Everything is the same anymore. I’ve been struggling to find a good one recently!! DNF so many this year 🥲🥲!! I wanted to start One True Loves but it’s not on KU!!! 😭 Also, if you take them to half price books I’d like to know how much they give you! Thinking of doing a clean out myself. Love the long uploads !! 💓
Call this spring cleaning. :) Good unhaul. Tastes change, and people mature. Not all books will be re-read. It's OK to let go of books because they still exist. You can read them later if you want.
I think it's great to explore different books and what makes you happy. Reading should be a fun experience and not a chore. I only buy my favorite books for my shelves in my office. Also, I tend to buy a few different editions and custom artful book creations of my favorites to display. I currently have 5 different editions of "The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue" (your Addie LaRue tattoo is so cool by the way). Some of those custom books are works of freaking art. Your 3 books made the cut though...WOOHOO! "Something Rad" is facing out showing the fun cover next to my tiny boom box accessory that goes with it.
Time never passes with a book. When you get older you'll realize that and wish that you hadn't thrown away the ones that you enjoyed simply due to superficial reasons.
I love all of the Little Women movies, but my favorite is definitely the 1994 version with Winona Ryder. If you haven't seen that one I highly recommend!!
Ah, I thought I saw an Interview with the Vampire there. Anne Rice is such a good writer that after reading her, other vampire books seem very simple. Especially the second book,The Vampire Lestat, is even better. You should definitely read the whole series❤
You are giving away so many books!! I can never imagine myself donating my books....i'm too attached to them😭😭 they are even annotated so nah... but yess book thats just sitting on your shelve you know you ain't gonna read it , its better to give those a new home
The ones that mean a lot to me I’m taking to the grave so I absolutely get it haha! But every once in awhile the clutter of things I know I won’t use again starts to drive me nuts. Once I rip off the bandage, there’s no stopping lol!
@@nikkisbooknook CANT WAIT FOR YOUR REVIEW because you feel things so deeply and can articulate things so well I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it 🥰
NIKKI I DONT KNOW IF YOU HAVE READ THE WHOLE CARVAL SERIE BUT YOU NEED TO DO A REVIEW AND READ ONCE UPON A BROKEN HEART SERIE YOU WILL LOVE THOSE BOOKS💖💖🍎🦊💋💖💖
Feel like you are giving away Pts of dark romances. Funny, I was doing the same thing. Something about getting ready to have children really makes you look at those books differently perhaps.

Consider me was ok but Play with me was my favorite! Unravel me was not it either lol. But those covers are gorgeous!!!
I’ve heard a lot of good things about Play With Me! I wonder if I’d connect more with that one 🥲
Fallen is worth keeping!
UGH it honestly looks so good! I just wonder if it’ll hit the same as an adult lol
Please please please read My Dark Vanessa and A Little Life for your new book era Nikki project lol 🤍
Definitely planning on A Little Life soon!

I absolutely enjoyed these violent delights the sequel not so much
Cathartic? Best wishes.
I can’t find a yours truly book review in your channel 😮
That's because she hasn't done a review on that one
I haven’t read it! I wasn’t the biggest fan of Part Of Your World. Should I try it?
@@nikkisbooknook yours truly is really good

I haven’t yet, but definitely need to!
Girl blink twice if someone is making you get rid of these books lol most of these are bangers
So many of them really are lol! I just need to free up some space for some new bangers and there’s no use hanging on to them if I won’t reread them 🥲
Feel like you are giving away
