What made you mention the glycerin? Do you have a sensitivity? My hair hates glycerin so that part stood out to me. And I don't recall you mentioning glycerin in the past.

I have the exact same dryer and it came with the diffuser attachment and a flat piece attachment. I was wondering if you could try using the flat piece attachment to stretch your hair. That's what I use and it seems to keep the frizz at a minimum.

I went back to making my own, some of these ingredients they put in our stuff just make me give these brands the SIDE EYE. I like kinky curly, but you gotta have extra shiny gold COIN for all that. 😂

I hear you. I have just been doing some research and very concerned about the petroleum products and such that seem to be in most gels. Very disappointing since gel does help with that extra hold in humid climates. May I ask what you use for your diy? I have no experience of making my own. Thank you!!!

Molten Chocolate never tried wetline extreme I always thought it would make my hair crunchy and flaky

The Cheap 4C do you have to put on a leave in conditioner or cream to use wetline? It flakes in my hair but I love the hold when trying to do a sleek ponytail.

You have many different textures in your hair and it’s so similar to mine and maybe other people. Can you do a video on your different textures and how you can tell it’s your texture and not heat damage ?
Heat damage affects the ends and not the roots. The texture is from root to tip.

@@dezpeaceify If I saw your hair and I was Cosmo backgroud you either have heat damage or tension damage which is a loosening of the texture from styling in a style that manipulates the texture often like pulling it in a bun or tight ponytail. It can loosen texture. Then there is chemical burn damage from dye and other chemicals. If it does not grow out from the root the way it is at the end...it is a form of damage regardless of how many textures you find in the hair. Some people don't know the texture because they have only seen their hair and people in their family hair in a damage state but do not recognize it as damage and think it's texture. This is common in our Latin and Afro Latin community where we are taught to straighten our hair for special events from an early age and the Dominican blow out method or way a lot of us Latins straighten our hair have heat trained or thermal relaxed (heat damaged) the hair in different areas or all over to have a stringy less defined look and crunchy but not springy. I hope all of this helps.

This gel is the best gel I had use, it all depend on ur hair. This gel makes my hair so soft and u can barely see u got gel on(trust me I use a lot) my hair usually get ugly after a while with other gel. With this one my hair is different.

Thanks for the review! I was really hoping for some bomb results. I really wanted to try the honey one because my hair loves honey but since it barely has any whats the point lol. I think I might purchase the strengthening one, sometimes I dont want crunch and usually I'll use the curl maker for that, so this might be a good alternative. Gonna wait til I can find it on the ground tho.
That’s interesting that they didn’t even put honey in the ingredients lol. But the real tea is some companies put ingredients on the label that aren’t really in there for marketing purposes 🤷🏾♀️ and they put ingredients toward the top of the list that are in there at 1% or less.

Castor oil, lots of it or as much as your hair can be comfortable with, before adding the gel will prevent flakes. I promise. I have the green one.

oh yeaaah it didn't work for me either. and in my country, it costs 10 USD soooo that was quite the waste. I've been using it still cos I ain't gonna waste that product and I am a student. I used the Aveda as leave-in with it. Also tried it alone, tried all kinds of brushstyling. it just wasn't giving anything. (my city is very humid btw)

I use one gel that holds my hair well never flakes and i love it eco flakes my hair wet line and gorilla snot so im sticking to my aloe vera styling gel it hold for days and av aloe vera dont get no better than that it dosent flake one bit

Sis not that it matters I'm Native American. You can see my hair texture on my Instagram page kl2jazzy. They reproduce Quantity and not Quality products. This is just my opinion and my experience with their products.

What is your hair type? I have 4C hair and it’s short. I only use the coconut curling cream, and water mixed with mane and tail leave in conditioner. That combo works for my hair. I’ve never tried gel in my wash and go routine. I might try the olive oil and flaxseed one. Thanks.

ehhhh. idk. I've had mixed feelings about Cantu. When I FIRST went natural (I've BC twice smh), it was the first product I tried. I tried everything and ONLY used their products (meaning I did not mix with other brands). I found my hair to be extremely dry. The curling creme is ok, but it did not wow me in any way. I NEEEEED my gels to hold and add shine chile and i just don't see Cantu doing that for me. Also, I live in South Louisiana and our humidity does not playyyyyy! Only the strong survive lmao
