- Some big performance upgrades in the Fiesta ST! In this episode of Drive Modified, we are adding some big power upgrades such as high lift camshafts, a performance inlet and a full Milltek Exhaust to my Ford Fiesta ST track car!

Thanks Declan! Yep that's the car! I built the turbo setup back in 2015! Sold the car a year later and somehow its made its way back to me!
Drive Modified Amazing how you got it back! I’ve got a white ST myself currently using it as a daily driver and would love to turn it into a track weapon! Cams and inlet manifold are on the to do list!

Soldered and sleeved those wiring joins and you didn't wrap it back up with shiny leccy tape, good lad!
You mentioned the engine was a bit smoky, having missed some oil changes, so wouldn't it been a good idea to remove the engine and give it a freshen up?

Fusion fabrication st150 inlet manifold Is the way to go 👍
The Caterham ones are cheaper, more widely available and make more power and torque! 🤙🏼

Interesting manifold. Never seen that used before. Did you get it remapped? PAS mod is a necessary mod for a trackcar anyway 👍

So what exhaust system would you recommend for the fiesta ST150? I’ve had My little fiesta from new on a 57 plate and I’m toying with the idea of replacing the system complete.

I’ve had loads over the years and in terms of my favourites;
1. Mountune (no drone at all and makes a great noise but hard to find)
2. Milltek (makes a great noise, tiny bit of drone bit definitely liveable)
3. Toyosport if you just want cheap noise! Cheap as but it’s very very loud and drones a lot! 😂

Cobra looks better in my opinion but don’t know if they sound better than the miltek 👍🏻
How have you secured the front bumper in place along with the straps? Screws elsewhere etc?
How much do you know about wiring? My fiesta kept blowing the GEM fuse and now it’s settled but ignition engages where as the clocks don’t and car then doesn’t start. However has full ignition ie windows/wipers etc

Can't find the torque settings for the 8 bolts to resecure the front bumper bracket to the car, and the slam panel! Do you know them or where I can find them.

Doesn’t matter a huge amount, I’d say 30nm or so would be fine!

It's the genuine ford main dealer workshop manual mate! Only the engine section, about 90 pages, I'm sure it's online somewhere!

Does the exhaust manifold just slot in? Or did you need to move the engine or anything?
Usually you need to loosen the engine mounts and pull the engine forward a little!

Any 2.0 duratec manual will do! Think I used the cosworth one!

How did you Manage to crack the crank nut pulley and tighten back up without having to lock the fly wheel?
It's not the best idea. You can easily broke the pin...
I removed the starter motor and locked the flywheel, was a pain to film though! 🤣
