I think it shows she was not reckless and carefree as the other two sisters, as she was also the only one aware of her surroundings and was intelligent and could be responsible. Those traits were valued in such tales (and I guess they reflect the surviving skills required in those times).
As a hungarian the two eldest was arrested and jailed bc they were witches but the youngest was the price of the men (but if we go in the logical way then im wrong)
That's a statue of Christ on the cross, these are commonly put at crossroads in Hungary and other neighbouring countries. The ones i've seen are made from wood, with the details painted on.
I have to admit the first story was very logical sure there was also religion things in there but atleast it made sense of how the slipper went off the shoe.
The second fairy tale reminds me a lot of the dancing plague, but spun into a much more fun and happy story. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, there was a strange phenomenon in the middle age where entire communities would break out into dancing and couldn’t stop until they inevitably died.
Basically, the three princesses went out clubbing
For the final tale, why is it that the two eldest daughters are jailed but the youngest is married off?
Also it is always the blonde one

I think it was because she was regretful and ashamed while the other two were not?
Not sure 😅
@@Viggyunju I think so too

With the Cinderella story, I can understand chopping the tree down, but don’t they kinda need the well and the roof?
Thats what I thought! But I guess the point is they’re THAT willing to spite themselves just to keep her unhappy. 😂😂
Ceiling can still protect them from the rain i guess .@@bjones2600
Glad the rooster made it out too.
8:43 bro just walked past crucified Jesus like it was nothing 😂

Narrator worked hard for that second story!
Why did the shepherd marry someone who danced with the devil?
I once knew an individual who went by the name William, his most disciplined priority was making a million-
Broken princess is useless to the kingdom.
Why in every Hungarian story the smallest daughter is chosen
Easy, if the eldest daughter marry first, no one is going to help at household chores!
The youngest is the underdog. Historically the girls get married in the order of age.
And all of a sudden, a cockle began to crow in the yard.
Cockles live in water, cockerels live on the yard.

I’m loving everything about this video 🥰🥰 I feel like a child again back in school watching folktales on a video that a teacher put on.
I love how the hungarian Cinderella goes to church while the french goes to party 😂
The 2nd story was like the Golden Goose. I remember that story from my childhood 40 years ago.
The second is so many different ones and types
Blondie had the best time 😂😂😂😂
Cinderella (S05E13)
The Golden Lamb (S6E11)
The Slipper Tearing Princesses (S06E10)
I live for these
