Glad to see Darwin's Journey finally coming back. It's one I passed on previously, probably due to backing a different game that month. It's been sold out most of the time here in Canada, so now I can finally get the deluxe version. Good games almost always come back to crowdfunding. Pixels and Polygons looked interesting, and then I saw the shipping prices. Yikes.

As a german who has gown up with "Das schwarze Auge" RPG since teenage days (1987) I always had mixed feelings about this game, because I just can't bring myself to like it; this GF-campaign is an "Aventuria 2.0" version, they had developed the game ever since 2016 and now are taking the latest version and putting it together as a "2.0".

Definitely getting La Pâtisserie Rococo (was a previous backer and Rahdo liked it a lot), most likely getting the expansion for Darwin's Journey without having played the base game yet, and I really liked my play of Baghdad in Essen last year.
Good Luck! But how are you going to keep up your 50% alignment with Alex if you don't back anything in 2025... I guess that's not really a problem until 2026 or later (since nothing would deliver until then anyway)! BTW, as encouragement, though not easy it is possible. I didn't back anything in 2024 and now I'm mostly not even tempted. Have just been waiting and picking stuff up in retail.
I really should not be watching this, I have Dice Throne Missions coming in 3 or 4 months I was crazy and blinged it out with plastic tokens sleeves and minis, this year I only played Marvel Dice Throne once. (I enjoy playing it, just don’t have group of people to play it with that live near by) I have chip theory games elder scrolls coming too, and I went all in, I fell in love with the art. Now knowing the game ways 22lbs I am afraid it might end up being a dust collector sitting on the shelf. When I tell my friends I am excited about it arriving they tell me I am crazy to spend that much money on a board game. I just hope it’s easy to play…. Thankfully none of the games in the video caught my eye. My wallet is safe….
I’ve got elder scrolls, Cthulhu dmd, castles of burgundy, and dragon eclipse all delivering soon 😅 I have a problem and my family is going to kill me. I really have to get through my shelf of shame and start culling
The last update I saw seemed to imply that he had plans and was still looking into what those plans could be. So right now it's still uncertain, although granted, not looking great.
I’m really hoping everything works out and it’s able to be manufactured. I was really looking forward to it 😢 I would’ve been open to donating a few bucks to help out but I’m glad he has some plans that don’t include backers giving more money

Looks like fox paw is the only one I’m really interested in. Really looking forward to content on it, I saw that board game buzz will be covering it.
Extremely excited for Masters of Orion and imo has the possibility to knock off Eclipse Second Dawn for a lot of folks I know.

I have not backed for a while, so much more choosy now. Still get tempted, but I wait for retail or second hand, and see if it still interests me.
