Hi!! 1. Yes, you can leave it on for a shorter amount of time but I would suggest no less than 2-3 hours. I have a question. Do you not wash your face or do any skin care before or during the time you have the freckles? I have been trying to make these henna freckles work but basically as soon as I wash my face they are gone... So I am just wondering if you have altered your skincare routine in order to keep them longer or... I might be doing it completely wrong? Or I got a bad product ( I live in Japan so I ordered what I could find through the amazon here). Any clarification would be so helpful
with my current skincare routine, I don't wash my face with face wash every day (usually every other day)! i find my skin gets very dry if I wash it too often, so this ends up working in my favor in terms of the freckles lasting longer. They typically only last about 3-4 days though, so def don't expect them to last too long. It's also totally dependent on how long you leave the henna on, and your skin type!!
You are beautiful and this was a very helpful video! I am about to try this out! I was wondering if keeping the henna in the fridge is good enough or if it needs to be stored in the freezer?

I also ordered the kit from mihenna now and I'm really excited😊 I got my first henna (body) done this year in India and I loved it. Did you try to spred the henna freckles with your finger like does this work? Or is the colour then too soft?
i didn’t spread the henna at all! i wanted to avoid smudging. i do think it’s good to lay it on thick no matter what design you’re doing with henna so that the pigment deposits as much as possible :)

Hey! The reasons for not lasting long can totally vary dependent on how naturally oily your skin is and also how often you wash your face. I wash my face approx every other day but only exfoliate as needed (sometimes this is once a week, sometimes this is twice a month). I usually exfoliate my face the day before I apply henna so that I can start on a fresh/clean face :)

Make sure you're using real/natural henna! I always suggest looking into the brand and the reviews ahead of time to see what other people are saying, as well. Often times, henna takes about 24 hours to fully develop so they get less orange throughout the day.
I bought henna from Amazon (returning P: and buying for the site you’ve mentioned) I left the one from Amazon overnight (8hrs)and nothing happened! Is it possible cuz of the skin care I put under before?
@@michaellaei ohh good to know I think I’ve tried it on clean face but I have to try again.. yea I’ve heard if ur using a product with fast cell turnover it doesn’t work as well🥲
i think i used a brown henna, the company i buy from only offers one color! i would def do some research on what red vs brown henna looks like on similar skin tones to yours, that helped me a lot :)
Can I put on moisturizer after I've taking off the freckles at night or will it interfer with the oxydation (so they'll turn brown)? Then I'll wait till next morning.
adding oil to your face will make the freckles fade faster, but they’re super easy to reapply! i use oil in my regular skin routine and they usually last about three days (and take about 24 hours to fully oxidize)
Great question! I don't think it does, the color is only temporary and will wash off over time. But it couldn't hurt do a little more research if you're worried about that in particular!
I think I messed up on mine, I didn’t put as many as she did, I assumed the less freckles the more realistic it would turn out. Mine look as if I have chicken pox, any advice on what I can do to fix it? I used the same Henna as she did. I’m not sure if it’s the placement or what… :( PLEASE HELP! (Also I’m very light complected, not sure if that adds to my issue)
i put a lot and layer them on top of each other for this reason! it actually helps make things look more realistic in my experience bc the freckles look more oblong, are spread out more sporadically, and have more variation in color :)
I can’t get my freckles to last longer than a day because I was, exfoliate, moisturize my face 2x a day :(( I have to because my skin is super oily and feels gross!! Any tips?
Exfoliating will pretty much remove the freckles. I don’t think you’re supposed to exfoliate twice a day, but i’m also not a dermatologist! so i’m not sure :(
@@michaellaei oh I meant liquid exfoliate! I use Paula’s choice bha, not a physical exfoliant (: but I found a way to make them last and not have to keep them on all night!! I just apply them, spend 20-30 minutes soaking in a super hot steamy bath, and when I get out they are dark and last all week!

@@michaellaei ok tysm! I did my freckles a few days ago and they turned out great thanks to u!
Can I put on moisturizer after I've taking off the freckles at night or will it interfer with the oxydation (so they'll turn brown)? Then I'll wait till next morning.
adding oil to your face will make the freckles fade faster, but they’re super easy to reapply! i use oil in my regular skin routine and they usually last about three days (and take about 24 hours to fully oxidize)
do you know if this henna will still show on a darker skin complexion?
it should! but i would definitely do a little research about different henna colors on varying skin tones
IM GONNA TRY THE SECOND LAYER🥹 I HAVE ALREADY PUT HENNA FRECKLES SO I NEED TO TRY THE SECOND LAYER 😍❤️❤️ THANK YOU FOR THE IDEA 🤗🤗
yayy!! lmk how it goes :)
I'm scared but I'll give it a try :3
You’re so beautiful🙇🏻♀️
thank you so much!!!
i wish i watched this before i applied mine its ok
tho bc ill just overlap
it on the first layer
tbh i prefer the look of overlapping anyway ;)
Would this sink into pores and make them darker? 🤨
Great question! I don't think it does, the color is only temporary and will wash off over time. But it couldn't hurt do a little more research if you're worried about that in particular!
Hello 😊 I am the same shade as you and I wanted to know what colour henna this was?!(brown/ black etc) I was planning on buying some for myself!
Hi!! I’m actually not sure, the company i purchased from only had one option. Sorry i couldn’t be more help :(
@@michaellaei it’s okay thank you 😊 maybe I will just get a brown 😊
I think I messed up on mine, I didn’t put as many as she did, I assumed the less freckles the more realistic it would turn out. Mine look as if I have chicken pox, any advice on what I can do to fix it? I used the same Henna as she did. I’m not sure if it’s the placement or what… :( PLEASE HELP! (Also I’m very light complected, not sure if that adds to my issue)
i put a lot and layer them on top of each other for this reason! it actually helps make things look more realistic in my experience bc the freckles look more oblong, are spread out more sporadically, and have more variation in color :)
i love it but why is mine bright orange
mine took a bit to develop from orange to brown! give it some time to darken :)
I bought mihenna cone... didnt do anything to my face , ı slept for a one night didnt work and ı m medium tan so sad😞😞
noooo im so sorry to hear that :( did you try it on your hand/arm first? maybe it's not a strong batch of henna?
Isit ok for your skin to apply the henna twice I want to try! X
i think it’s okay! I applied it twice in one day in this video and it worked totally fine :)
Random question, but where did you get your glasses? they look so cute on you. :)

@@michaellaei Do you know the name listing of them? there's so many that look similar

@@michaellaei Thank you so much :D
Can anyone recommend a method for doing this when you already have freckles naturally but want to put in a few more without the sun exposure
it’s hard to say because i don’t have a lot of natural freckles, but i think you can do the same process with less henna :)
@@michaellaei Thankyou I’m going to try it 🥰
