Nice! I am currently building a 5efte with subaru tf035. I think td04 is too big for 5e and even more so for 4e. only if you participate in drag racing😁are you using stock 4efe? on original pistons? you can put std pistons from 5efe and get a compression ratio of about 8.6👌
Stock TD04's are only good up to about 220hp so they're not really drag racing turbo's! TF's make less. I prefer turbo's with a larger turbine housing and wheel for it's better exhaust flow which will reduce exhaust manifold pressure therefore increasing engine VE. Be careful, because the TF035 came in 2 different turbine housing sizes, 4cm2 (small) and 6cm2 (large). Personally I feel the TF is a bit small for 5e but it all depends on the desired power output, delivery and rpm range (not sure what power you're aiming for). I am looking to buy a Tf035hm for a comparison as it should be a straight swap onto the mani and d'pipe. Thanks for the piston tip but here in the UK anything 5e related is expensive. I'd rather spend more and go forged. 👍
Nice one Dan. Thank you for sharing your knowledge 🙏🏻 has been very helpful to me I just rebuilt a TD04 for my GT Advance. I will be uploading a video soon. ❤
Glad you went for a bigger turbo
hey thanks for the video, I had a feeling it was the snap ring and you confirmed it for me
Bought my ep91 starlet a month ago and planned to whack a td04 to it at some point, loving the content and you have got yourself a new subscriber! 👊👊
Thanks bro 👍
Love the bubble
Very nice video :) your attention to detail amazes me, started when I saw you designing the IC brackets :) Love the videos, keep dem cming 👍👍👍
Thanks friend 😁
