Amazing, this one left its mark just like the Jeep did, even thought the Jeep means more for just being an important part of winning the WWII, but the Humvee becoming the hummer a best seller full size SUV, and even now it’s making its comeback as an EV, just amazing piece of machinery, and I guess the remaining ones still on the field will be serving for some more years. As for the new Oshkosh seems to be a very good replacement. I just don’t think there’s room for a civilian version.
****it’s a great all-round ultility vehicle……just have to bolt on some v-shaped IED explosives force dispersal and protection device to the underneath of the car, abit more seat protection, and it’s good to keep going for the next 25 years!!!…..these armor should be bolt-ons, and easily removable for saving weight and gas, for normal, non-combat area use*****
The humvee will live as a legend for carrying a lot of missions and, saved a lot of soldiers.
I'm a medic in a Charlie Med unit. My platoon operates the FLAs. They have their issues but are pretty useful as an Ambulance

JerryRigEverything *slaps roof* You can fit so many batteries in this bad boy
Would still like to buy a mint US Army one, or as close,
I heard that humvee will stay in service till 2050
Why don’t they just immediately switch to the JLTV if it’s much better than the humvee
@@MadlyParrot5345 jltvs are very expensive and the humvee is adequate for non combat use
Thing was slow, noisy, bouncy and questionable reliability, i called it the metal coffin
Thank you for your first hand experience!
You have not met the jltv I would gladly take a humve all day everyday over a damn jltv
@@Incrediblebowlesmodels yep got out by 2008, did the initial invasion and the 15 month “surge” in Iraq, was in Basrah
@@kitmarshall4084When you say slow? How bad is it. Because it doesn't seem slow from video.
The jltvs came out in 2011 not 2013. He had them while deployed to Afghanistan
Humvee is No.1!🇺🇸(^^ゞ
