To those that follow or play the instrument, Mark remains among the greatest harp players alive today.
+Gary Hoffman best comment on youtube.

Howard Levey (could be spelled wrong) is also among the finest.

Gary Hoffman ...Markand Patrick my buddies.....I feel the same. Mark played happy dbay song for me on my answering machine. Unreal talent. Check his song to his mother.." Pink Time". Wow
Our friends. And I also agree Mark is Stellar!!
Mark's sound on the harp is so very nice. Love the harp he plays.
That is some of the sweetest harp I've ever heard.
What a Great band all in there early twentys when they recorded this,Andy Just who took over harp in The Ford blues band is also a great player.Very Nice!
Actually Mark was only 19, maybe 18. That lineup only existed for less than a year, but their influence can still be heard - especially in Northern Calif.
Yes Mark is the youngest, Robben, Pat and Stan Poplin where in there early twentys
Ok, I saw it was Mark Ford after watching the entire video. Great stuff !
Cut mah teeth on this and Paul Butterfield back in the day. It had a picture if the Ford Brothers on the steps to an old San Francisco or Monterrey Row Hiuse which I miss with the Archoolie reissue. I am so glad this to have it once again back in my collection, where it should be......

DIMITRIS, USTED SIEMPRE SELECCIONANDO LO MEJOR DEL BLUES, ESTO ES EXQUISITO
Ohhh, this is excellent.
we need more harp guys like mark. i think i met this guy once in aspen, colorado back around 1974-75. i used to walk the streets in the evening there while jamming out on my harps. one night some guy, maybe mark, said "lemme show you how to play that thing" and he grabbed the harp out of my hands and proceeded to blow an awful lot like the sounds you hear here. it sounded a lot like butterfield, another favorite harp guy for me. i have been getting a lot better through the years, thanks in part to recordings like this and that mystery man in the streets of aspen.
Might've been Mark. I think he worked in demolition (dynamiting rock and such) for a while, I believe in Colorado.
Mark never worked in that field paramedic/ emt. when not Blowing the harmonica and our minds
From 5:40 5:60 is a masterpiece !
Who is that playing the harp ? Incredible !
