Alan Wake 2 is an exceptionally visually demanding game, irrespective of which GPU you decide to run the game. Even without the ray tracing graphics options enabled, the impeccable image quality of Alan Wake 2 means that even a GPU as capable as a laptop RTX 3070 will be brought to its knees, despite DLSS being enabled.
Fortunately, there is an FSR 3 mod that boosts performance, making the game playing at the highest visual settings (without ray tracing) enabled, though there are some visual issues, such as character shimmering and blurry effects, that will likely get addressed in future updates.
