You are the only Notion tutorial page that actually explains the logic behind what you’re doing so I’m actually learning while watching your videos. It also helps that I’m dying of laughter every time I watch your videos.
This is such a helpful tutorial on how to get more comfortable with Notion, regardless of subject! Thank you so much for showing so many cool things about building a database. I'm old, so I slow down the playback. This will be on repeat for sure! Thanks a bunch! 💖
This is fantastic. This video, other videos of your channel, the quality of your templates, the bit of irony in the tutorials that makes them even more enjoyable... and I could say much more. You've earned a new subscriber for sure!
You are awesome ! I would suggest *adding a template for steps of the recipe* in restaurant we do templates of recipes containing : - The items used ; in wich quantity for a number of people. - The tools used to cook. - The steps of the recipe. We could just make a template that's easily fillable with the items and tools use, maybe using check-box to chek fastly all the things needed when addind a recipe ! That would blow my habits of work as french cook, I'm really grateful to you for that idea !
This is honestly the best tutorial on meal planning on YT. I totally needed such tutorial to organize my meal prepping and planning. I love your content and humor. Amazing presentation.
Top level tutorial/outline! 👍🏻 I’m returning to Notion after a long hiatus, but interested in cleaning up my eating habits a bit, so I implemented this, connecting to a Recipes DB I had started before. One thing I found useful was to make some grocery items more of a category (e.g. “Beans”, or “”Noodles & Pasta” and added a details (“Deets”) text property that lets me be more specific for whatever I need to buy during the next shopping trip. FWIW and YMMV, etc! Cheers! PS: Love the humorous injections! 😉
This is awesome! Is it possible to view a recipe, and then see which ingredients need to be bought? Also how do you add the 'store' property to the household item list, that is also in sync with the store property from ingredients? Thanks!
Man, thanks for this you really are a wizard when it comes to Notion! I've just got this template and headquarters which I'm really looking forward to getting stuck into. One big thing I was hoping to achieve was for the recipes in the meal planner to automatically populate the shopping list, can this be possible? If so then how? Would be amazing if we could get this to feature.
Thank your for sharing this! I love that it’s straightforward. I also enjoyed your editing style, it reminds me of my bfs humour haha EDIT: my bf is watching this and he's laughing out loud
Love the tutorial, helped me a lot :) But I am not a fan of watching random clips from shows when I am here for a tutorial, it takes me out of it a little.
Love your tutorials! I am giving notion a second chance because of you 😂 i have a question though : is it possible to check the buy checkbox automatically for groceries on recipes added to meal plan? I think that would be cool feature
hello, is there a way for me to add this to my task calendar? Where i would be able to see what I have planned for the week in my meal planner on the notion calendar
Thanks for the video. Is there a way that you can link the recipes and groceries so that when I choose my meals for the week on the meal planner, it automatically populates my shopping list with the ingredients needed? Been desperately looking for soemthing that does this for months
Is there a way to search recipes in my meal planner by tags/catagories eg. i have labelled mine dinner, breakfast etc and I want to be able to search within those tags
It's great as educational video on using Notion but it has nothing common with editing receipts like "3 eggs, 150 gr of sugar, 5 tbsp of olive oil etc." using one DB of ingredients. Alas
So if I have 3 recipes with eggs, does that translate to the shopping list 3x? I would really love to see total qty in shopping list. I mean, we put men on the moon... Supposedly Great vid!
ive been searching for a temp with shopping list and buy/oos option... and i actually understand how to use relation (this and rollup r confusing to me) thank you so much kind sir! i wish you good sleep, good health and good food for the rest of ya lifeeeee

This is amazing, thank you! Do you have a Kitchen Pantry Inventory video for notion as well?
Thanks!!
Love the tutorial, helped me a lot :) But I am not a fan of watching random clips from shows when I am here for a tutorial, it takes me out of it a little.

Is there a way to search recipes in my meal planner by tags/catagories eg. i have labelled mine dinner, breakfast etc and I want to be able to search within those tags
pls help me. so, if i created the relation between groceries and recipes, is there any possible way to actually use a checkbox from the recipe page?
How do I connect this to your headquarters?
Hey :) Simply download and then drag and drop this page into where you want it in headquarters. Maybe as a Project or as a Life Bucket :D
he did you figure it out? Im trying to connect this to see in my notion calendar
@@kimonadrummond4558 yeah my computer is charging for the night so I will try to post a screen recording tomorrow
@@BurnoutBudgets that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

That can go in the directions section in the Recipes database :)
