In the end your main was pretty twisted open at the top. If you ease the traveler and tighten up the main sheet you’ll take some of the twist out of it, generate more power in the top. Just a thought.
Thanks for the video. It had so much useful information in it for a 'First Sail' video. You mentioned about changing the colour of the text displayed on the screen from white. I don't think that's possible yet? Regarding the percentages, maybe it would help if for each line it added a word after the percentage, e.g. "60% forward" or similar. Also, although I'm quite new to this I think there should be an option to disable clicking on lines. More than once I've tried to change the view and found I'm adjust one of the lines and haven't immediately noticed. Thanks again.
What short cut keys help move around boat better, tough finding the right angle to view sheets. Sometimes page up/ page down keys views don’t give me proper viewpoints to see straight ahead when racing around. Wish the control key worked. Help get perfect angle to view
That's the True Wind Angle, the angle of the wind you feel when you're stopped. As you speed up, your own speed creates wind and shifts the wind towards the front of your boat, that's called the Apparent Wind and you have the AWA, Apparent Wind Angle to know your angle to it. This AW is what the sails receive and it's what you should be trimming your sails to If you got any more questions, feel free to ask!
