Hi Ruchi, Thank you for showing us the local culture and traditions. There are plenty of videos out there on China that are travel vlogs but I am not sure how many of them showcase the culture and tradition. This is a splendid way of getting a sneak peak into a Chinese household. and yes, you are right, amongst Bengalis we offer "Goat" as an offering to Ma Kali on Diwali day which is also celebrated as Kali Puja. We celebrate Lakshmi puja on Sharad purnima and thus we can offer and eat non-veg on Diwali day.
Thanks for your videos introducing real life inside China. My mom also worshipped Buddha at home like that. Chinese has a very popular film "Journey To The West" about Buddhism origin. We usually go to temples to pray! There are more temples than churches in my home town, may be because China has Buddhism for about 2000 years!

Yeah definitely in North East India we Assamese people also offer non veg foods i.e fish with rice wine to our ancestors on Assamese new year that is on baisakhi month. It's quite similar to Chinese tradition in NE region.
In South India, Andhrapradesh and Telangana for few Devi temples and festivals they offer hen or goat. Usse bali chadake phir devi ko bhi prashad jaise chadathe hai.. Along with palm wine..
As usual great video. 👍🏻 Really liked Ivan's (or Evan?) dress and hats. Fireworks at the end and those from your house was beautiful. Btw, those natural glue is also used here for sticking posters, composition or contents might vary though.

haan pure india me he non veg or alcohol chadaya jata haai, peero ki puja pe, pitro ki puja pe, kai matao pe bhi non veg chadta hai, gao me kafi hota hai, even in vedic me yagan ka matab secrifice he hota tha pandit k ane pe cow ki bali di jati di, fir bhudhism k bad jab vedic/brahmanism dobara aya to mostly upper castes and city people became vegiterian, i'm from haryana by the way
Yeah definitely in North East India we Assamese people also offer non veg foods i.e fish with rice wine to our ancestors on Assamese new year that is on baisakhi month. It's quite similar to Chinese tradition in NE region.
In West Bengal, we kolkata-based people we offer non-veg items to Goddess like Durga Maa or Kali Maa.
Thank you so much didi for your video's🤗
Yes Ruchi di you are right......I am from westbengal and in Durgapuja we eat meet at "NAVAMI"....
Yes in Punjab this atta mixed with water is used as glue especially for book binding and making paper bags. It's called letti.
In South India, Andhrapradesh and Telangana for few Devi temples and festivals they offer hen or goat. Usse bali chadake phir devi ko bhi prashad jaise chadathe hai.. Along with palm wine..
As usual great video. 👍🏻
Really liked Ivan's (or Evan?) dress and hats. Fireworks at the end and those from your house was beautiful.
Btw, those natural glue is also used here for sticking posters, composition or contents might vary though.
Sahi Bola, Bengali Kali puja me wine and got ko samarpan karte hain .Tarapit kali mata ko Pura nonvege except murga puja me dete hain.
Yes. In West Bengal we Bengalis eat non veg food to celebrate during Durga puja. But we don't offer them to Durga maa as ritual
She got her first advertisement.

West Bengal main kuch mandir main shitala mata ko prasad main fish diya jata hai..hamare gaon main shitala mata k puja k bad goat bali hota hai..or bali k goat ko mata ka Prasad mante hai or uska meat ko cooking karne k bad prasad charaha jata hai mata ko
In Jharkhand (state in India) there are many tribal regions where many tribal people likes and I belong to hoo tribal. And we also worship our ancestors soul. And we also office them meats and wine ...

In Himachal Pradesh there are some temples where non veg is served as Prasad....and also about ancestral(jatheras,dheris,kuldevi/kuldevta) poojas we still in village follow tht culture more than visiting usual Hindu lords n devis temples ...
In Bengali , fish is considered sacred food . We offer fish during our many rituals.
We call this glue ' leti 'in Punjabi (atta handmade glue )and used to stick posters or paper pennant party decorations on thread ...it was so fun in those years, talking about some 30 years back..now chemical glue is mostly used ..
Hum bhi childhood mein aise aate and water ka glue banate the mere grand father
Chinese family values like bonding with grandparents, rituals, family get togethers etc. seem similar to Indian values. Btw, how is your Mandarin?!
