- Hi Nail Friends! I'm a DIY at home acrylic dip powder and gel user. I am not a professional, just having fun and saving $ by doing my own dip powder manis!
Today is a longer video because I have something special to show you! I’m honored to be invited to co-design a new Dip Powder collection for you with the fabulous Gigi’s Nail Co! Love it, always gorgeous mani's😍 Also another hack to lay those snowflakes flat is dab a little activator on then and hold it down. They will be so flat! Learned that from Kate. Also instead of using gel base, you can just put bond like on the free edge of the nail and about half way up and then use the gel top so to not be so thick of coats. Learned that one from Marla Kris. I've never had peeling since then

WOW, that is a lot of work. I am not skilled enough with chunky glitters to work with that. Would the activator hack work to get the snowflakes to melt down and lay flat? The mani is forgeous

I do the hold and wrap and …rub 😆 but after I activate - it creates a very smooth very round effect. I have two videos on my channel ^_^ I also pinch the tips a bit if I want a little thinner.

how long do you leave the gelly tips on or do you do fills as they grow out? I use painters tape rather then a baggie if one has that around the house so easy as well. Cute nails
I’ve been wearing them for about 3 weeks at a time and lightly buff/file the edge to blend with the new growth. You can definitely fill with builder gel, I’ve just been a little lazy, and since I haven’t had any lifting just leave them alone. Oooh I’m gonna try the painters tape! That sounds like a great trick! Thank you!
What a cute mani, love the marble powder.... I would like to know how long this will last after all of that hard work since you used peel off base.
Hehehehe! I filmed this Friday and today is Wednesday… I’ve already popped and done 2 more manis on that hand. 🙈🤣
@@CorgisWineAndNails oh my 🤣🤣 ok so in general it's safe to say peel off base only lasts about 3 days?
@@xoRitz727xo Actually it can definitely stay on longer but I intentionally popped it off! It’s unique to everyone because of body chemistry and activities so it’s something you have to experiment with to find your groove! But my skin and nails are so much happier without acetone! I can’t remember the last time I used acetone.
