I use to work with a lady that had a restaurant and a catering company and she taught me a lot and that was what she told me about the soups and I never forget that and I buy chicken soup at some Jamaican restaurant and they have cornmeal dumplings in it and it was a turn off for me
I use the fresh coconut milk. I cook my meat, peas and coconut milk, pimento and thyme together. Then I put in my food along with the eskellion, after everything is cooked, I season with eskellion, thyme, pepper, noodle. I don't put noodle in all my red peas soup either it depends and I definitely don't use butter or cho cho. If you use a lot of peas you don't need noodle, u can try it with and without the noodle and see the difference. I always use the noodles in the pumpkin soup though.
No noodles in peas soup cho cho, butter not necessary. Corn meal dumplings is a must salted meat also. Not a good way to cool down the pressure cooker can cause damage. Best dumplings Jamaica counter flour. It's packaged selling in supermarket in Jamaica
I know that you are going to like using electric pressure cookers. The timer is good and there is no noise. I have 3 of them and sometimes I use all 3 for preparing a meal. I even use one for the rice and peas.

Where I'm from chicken foot is not really a local dish, some of my family members have Jamaican friends that introduced them to it and they start cooking and eating it.
I'm just happy for your children having you around to serve them with fresh cook meals.
