That little village from the first part of the video was so cute. That is one of the things I love about watching videos about Japan is its mixture of New and Old.
We have a little bit of that in the States but it's mostly 1950's towns that have since had their local source of income dry up. Some rare occasions a old west type of town.
Soooo quiet and peaceful. No music blasting from cars or people's phones. No rowdy people. Trust and tranquility. This is paradise. It is almost impossible to create such a environment in America. Diversity has its good and bad sides.
Weirdly enough, I reeeeaaaaally wanted to be a tour guide when I first got to Japan. I tried looking all over for a job before giving up and getting a different job.
I absolutely love watching y'all's videos. Ryosuke's energy and positivity are absolutely infectious! Super jealous of all y'all's adventures. This Texan hopes to go to Japan someday too!
Just started watching your videos this month and they make me very nostalgic for Japan. I worked as a JET in Toyama for 3 years and by the end, I was very ready to leave. It's nice to now be able to watch your videos and think fondly on those memories rather than frustration/angst. All the best on your travels!
I love that you guys always vary clearly show how to pray at the shrines and temples you visit, makes me hopeful I'll do the right thing when I get to visit one some day!
what a fun trip. I love that your vacations are defined by good food. My wife and I do the same thing. I also really enjoyed the nice background music.
Watching you guys explore your lives together is simply a delight! You two are SO adorable together! Thank you for sharing some of your days with us and showing us all these amazing, beautiful elements of Japanese culture! :)
Love you guys and especially love when you show what your eating. I'm from Australia and your food looks so much more interesting! Thank you for the videos.
I have been struggling with depression and watching your daily vlogs really brings me a sense of happiness and joy I have always wanted to move to Japan to pursue a career in Anime/Manga thank you both for being such beautiful people. ^_^
wow, I've always been interested in Japanese culture, but you guys have inspired me to begin learning Japanese and actually start taking steps to go there someday. thanks so much for making these videos :)
I think this was one of your best videos! It might be the magic of the places you visited. When you were at the shrine saying "Wow!", I was right there with you saying "wow" also. Great job!
Fukushima- loved the mascot for the power plant company- Fukuppy. Looks very pretty, like a lot of Japan, I really like how they have been able to keep the countryside and still cram a ton of people in such a small island chain.
I have been watching your videos for a 1 week and I have got too addicted that i have watched all of your videos about A day in my life and more others from your channel. I really love Japan and it is my No.1 country that I would really like to visit. I love you guys and I hope to meet you in person when I visit Japan. Stay positive and cheerful. :)
Yay! My twin Micky and I just caught up on all of your 'Day In My Life" videos! 😸 Twas like a fun movie, and imagine our delight when you guys uploaded this particular one, just as we thought we were finishing up ~ so happy, so happy! 😸😸😸 Love all that the both of you do; keep up the wonderful work!! ♡ You guys make us look forward to studying//visiting Japan. 👼
that beautiful place looks like it's timeless... another place to visit on my list, thank you for showing us the simpler and "day-to-day" side of things.
I live in the rainforest in Perú, on the city of "Tingo María" next to the "bella durmiente" mountain (that mountain literally looks like a girl sleeping) and is also really beautiful but on a completely different way. btw, i got to your channel binge-watching youtube videos of japan cooking... and... i saw a "wild Ryosuke" making a strange food i never heard off (almost 4 months ago) sisnce then i got hooked on your cahnnel, keep the good work and best of lucks.
I really love your videos, it doesn't matter if you're eating in them or not, I prefer seeing you eat all those traditional meals, such lovely places. You guys are my favorite youtubers because of the freshness and themes of the videos. Whenever you come to Mexico let me know please, I will try to be your guide.
I like watching your videos when I wake up. It makes getting out of bed much nicer and easier haha. Everything looks so beautiful there. Glad y'all had a fun time!
You two are so sweet! Love your videos and I learn SO much! As for eating as much as you guys do for videos, it helps us learn a little more about the food through reaction to it and commentary on it. For example, natto is something that I would like to sample but it seems to be a love it or hate it item, but I would try it based on your guys description.
I love watching your videos! This looks like a really relaxing & fun trip. Thank you for sharing! I look forward to more videos and I hope to someday travel to awesome places like this in the future! 😊 ❤️
I love seeing all the different food! Makes me wish I had those experiences. Maybe one day I will be able to travel, and if I do then I'd bring my daughter and allow her such experiences as well! Love your videos, you and Ryosuke are wonderful!
Texan in Tokyo I hope so too, that would be a dream come true! I have always loved everything about Japan, the culture, foods, etc etc. That is like the #1 place I want to travel!
Agree with the others, the music was amazing in this video. I have been in love with the rural temples since I watched an anime called Natsume Yuujinchou. Such a sweet and sad story of Natsume. I love learning about Japan and the culture. I hope to be able to visit someday!
John Doe I just looked it up and the area near the nuclear plant is off limits. A good section of the prefecture has elevated radiation levels, but these radiation levels are comparable to the regular radiation found in cities like Denver, and most everywhere else has levels that are comparable to other places around the world
It's an entire prefecture (state), the accident happened in a small area on the coast. Because something happens in Spokane, Washington doesn't mean there's a problem in Seattle.
I think they mean the Nuclear power station leak after the earthquake/tsunami not the bombs. And yes that's the place of the accident but as others have said it's a state not a city so they are safe where they are.
"I'm so glad I'm alive"
That guy is a inspiration
Ryusoke is so awesomely positive - I cannot get enough of his infectious energy 🌏☮
Oh thank you!! That makes me so happy!! :D yay for everyone~ (Ryosuke)
*It's like Japan is infused with nature*.
*Great video and matching background music*.
Grace *sad* , Ryosuke: "let's get ice cream for you honey." His husband game is strong.
The music was perfection.
the music you use for these videos is so peaceful and serene and fitting for the areas!!
"The best kind of food is you have fun while eating it"....very wise words my friend lol
Thanks! Yay for best kind of food! :)
The more food the better! I love seeing all the different foods you eat on your travels and the meals you make at home.
Thanks! We love, love, LOVE food - it's always fun when other people do too!
Besides its still a lot less than on japanese tv(unless things changed recently. I don't have a set)
That little village from the first part of the video was so cute. That is one of the things I love about watching videos about Japan is its mixture of New and Old.
Yeah! That's what I love about Japanese countryside :) (Ryosuke)
I am SO in love with the way this video was shot and edited 😭😍
This was a wonderfully shot and edited video, I really like the day in my life series, and there is no such thing as too many food videos. The end.
Thank you! We both took turns editing it and are really proud of how it turned out :D
Don't ever be sorry about food/eating in your videos; learning about food while seeing different places is just wonderful.
Oh yay!
Love your show. I'd like to make a suggestion how about a top ten things tourist should do and/or not do while in Japan?
Also the bowing at the temple could you explain what the reason behind it? I assume it is respecting the gods/ goddesses and ancestors?
I like watching the different foods, please don't stop
Thank you for sharing your travel experience. I find your channel enjoyable.
Thank you!
That temple in the woods is so magical. Wow
You two would make great personal tour guides! Watching you and Ryosuke are the next best thing to being there....
Weirdly enough, I reeeeaaaaally wanted to be a tour guide when I first got to Japan. I tried looking all over for a job before giving up and getting a different job.
Awww That's just so sweet! I really appreciate it!
I absolutely love watching y'all's videos. Ryosuke's energy and positivity are absolutely infectious! Super jealous of all y'all's adventures. This Texan hopes to go to Japan someday too!
When I saw the mountains, I thought back to the comic you made about your mountain hike with husband and father in law :)
Oh, and I love your travel and temple/shrine cinematography. Paired with the music, it's so calming.
So happy you are still filling in your temple book! After watching your previous video on it I'm inspired to do the same when I visit Japan!
omg i love you guys so much you guys are like the most relatable for me personally keep making the good videos sending you good vibes from Canada
Thanks!
One thing I remember about being in Aizuwakamatzu...the red cow! And heavy snow fall!
what a fun trip. I love that your vacations are defined by good food. My wife and I do the same thing.
I also really enjoyed the nice background music.
my favorite moment " This table is reserved for beautiful people...........and he is sitting down."
Ryosuke is the coolest.
that shrine is the the most beautiful thing I've ever seen! and that hiking trail looks beautiful too. those trees are so high! lovely video!

wow, I've always been interested in Japanese culture, but you guys have inspired me to begin learning Japanese and actually start taking steps to go there someday. thanks so much for making these videos :)
I think this was one of your best videos! It might be the magic of the places you visited. When you were at the shrine saying "Wow!", I was right there with you saying "wow" also. Great job!
Thank you for taking us along with you on your trip. I wish I could go for real someday.
Watching your videos are very relaxing. I'm from Taiwan.

I really LOVE the rural parts of Japan and hope more people get a chance to visit them!

Umm, isn't Fukishima, the radioactive place?
it's like saying the while state is radioactive. no, only the northen coastal area is cut off.
John Doe I just looked it up and the area near the nuclear plant is off limits. A good section of the prefecture has elevated radiation levels, but these radiation levels are comparable to the regular radiation found in cities like Denver, and most everywhere else has levels that are comparable to other places around the world

Hiroshima and Nagasaki are the radioactive places
I think they mean the Nuclear power station leak after the earthquake/tsunami not the bombs. And yes that's the place of the accident but as others have said it's a state not a city so they are safe where they are.
