This is the start of my couch to 5k journey , I have been wanting to get myself into fitness and finally I’ve started first step of the journey is challenging myself to complete couch to 5k and here is week 1-4 of my journey as a total non runner I do not and have not ever ran.
I struggle with breathing , leg aches and will power I’m not even sure I can do this but I’m going to give it my best.

Hi Claire! Really enjoy your videos. Just wanted to say around 4 years ago I couldn’t run for a bus. Now I go around 3/4 times a week and it’s part of my lifestyle. I don’t feel like I am myself if I don’t go. I like how easy it is to run as you can go whenever- any time of day and it’s relatively inexpensive. Keep going! Sorry to hear about your grandad ❤️.

I’ve just joined the gym also and mainly for swimming but think you’ve inspired me to start c25k on the treadmill! Been wanting to do it for ages just need some motivation!
I love ❤swimming too. Claire has also motivated me to do couch to 5k on the treadmill. I used to run a lot years ago so will be a beginner but will just take it easy xxx

I’m going to start couch to 5k on the treadmill. It’s super hilly around here and I haven’t run in a few years - used to run a lot and I’m a lot heavier so I think treadmill will be the best bet xxx
Treadmills working well for me no hills and keeping a consistent speed 🙌🏼
Great progress Claire. It was hard hearing you mention grandad and knowing what was coming 😥 I've found that once you reach 5km continuously, even after a few weeks or months without running its been easy to get back tomthat standard. Just remember the first ten minutes are the worst!
Yes I absolutely am finding longer times are getting easier I think it’s more about my mindset that’s getting me through the times 🙌🏼

I am mid 50's had a mastectomy in jan this year and just joined the gym as oncologist said about the importance of exercise and keeing strength in those bones. Xx

I think it’s more important then we think x hope you are recovering well Jane xxxx bones muscles and mentally I never thought I’d say this but it’s helped me a lot the last few weeks 🙌🏼
I just wanted to thank you for the C25K inspiration. I have tried for years and don't get far. Today, I did W2R1. I am 44 on slimming world. Just started HRT due to lots of symptoms, main one my mental health (very low mood) C25K I feel has lifted me Xx
