The 2022 Corvette Z06, will likely cost less and apparently sport 5.5L NA 617hp DOHC flat plane V8 that's revs to 9k or so. It will certainly be quicker and very very likely far more reliable than a 458. It's will still be Chevy so it will never have the status of Ferrari.
