My friend was a chef at a restaurant in West Palm Beach Florida that Brian would frequent when he was in town. He said he was the nicest guy and took time to talk to everyone who wanted to talk to him. Said he was humble and kind, a normal guy
As someone who was born in the mid-60s, I grew up listening to both these fine gentlemen. If my life had a soundtrack, both of these guys would be singing on it.
It's so rad whenever I see Plant embracing his Zeppelin past. Sometimes you get the sense that he'd rather distance himself from the whole affair, so it's great to see him do something as cool as wear his TSRTS celtic cover and sword from the film. Love to see him owning that.

I wouldn't say that he distances himself from Led Zepp, I saw him in 2013 at a festival and he played heaps of LZ songs and was fully into it. He probably just gets sick of talking to reporters asking the same tired old questions, but I think he still loves the music, and he's talking to a fellow musician here.
@@rivertam7827 Interesting, that may be true. I just don't quite understand why he seemed to be the bottleneck in a LZ reunion. I get the sense that Page would have picked it right back up mid-80's if he could have, but he knows there's no way to do Zep without Plant, and so has had his hands tied this whole time. I could be wrong. And yet.....crickets. And that was almost 15 years ago now.
@@mylesmilliman6166 you make a fair point. But I suppose there could be any number of reasons for not wanting to tour or make music under the LZ name, he simply may not want the pressure of having to live up to the legend of being one of the greatest rock groups in history..... or maybe he just doesn't like Jimmy Page 🤷♀️
@@mylesmilliman6166 he has a few reasons, the main ones probably being to honour Bonzo's memory, to honour their original decision to break up, their previous failed reunions (they only got it right in 2007), their advancing age, the ultimate failure of Page & Plant, the amazing success of his solo career, the sorry state of so many of their contemporaries touring endlessly playing only their old hits and the audience downright uninterested in any new songs (that's gotta hurt as an artist)... and nowadays he doesn't like the heavier Zeppelin stuff either - he vetoed a lot of the heavy songs from the O2 concert

I have resigned myself to the fact that 100 yards is the closest I will ever come to seeing Robert face to face. A concert in San Diego, the last one Zeppelin did there, is what will remain one of my fondest memories in my life. 2021 & the lead singers of my two favorite bands growing up are hanging together on a bridge, just crazy. What I wouldn't give to sit & have a drink with both of them. Man I love these videos!
Don't forget the film crew and director. It's great to see the two men enjoying the world, but the whole thing is a contrivance. I've been a minor participant in a simple public service announcement production that took hours upon hours to film a few seconds of a car wreck scene. It portrayed two cars that looked like they had crashed in an intersection, and featured a cop pouring out a "beer" for the camera. The truth is that the cars came from our towing company storage lot and were involved in totally separate wrecks. My participation was that I brought the cars to the location, positioned them in the intersection, and positioned my truck in a nearby area. For hours, and too many takes to count, I moved the truck a few feet back and forth in the background. Our company name was supposed to be clearly visible in the PSA. It wasn't. I was volunteered to the job, so I worked that misery for nothing. It's possible that the two musicians were filmed in the moment and in one take, but I doubt it.
Such beauty and serenity...How lovely it would be to walk over that bridge every morning and stroll along river's edge in the midst of total tranquility...
Surely you must mean, Led Zeppelin and AC/DC?! 😬😏 AC/DC were great, but rather one dimensional with their power chord formula. Zeppelin could do it all, and did, via three master musicians and one screaming banshee who could also sooth your soul.

Besides Bonham being drunk beyond any sense of well being, they appeared very happy, in their element, and gave an awesome performance. Thank you Brian for this very enjoyable episode. I almost expected Tom Jones to make an appearance as well. God bless you for all you have done and continue to do.
Come to Aberystwyth or up to Machynlleth. If you wait a while, he'll eventually show up.
I'd happily settle for that.
Please, can you tell me the Song in the Beginning ( at the first 10 seconds)???
What stunning county side! Wish the video was way way longer!
Good man, Robert Plant!!!
Can you imagine driving by on that bridge, stopping, and say hello to these two?
How cool would that be eh?
Chris do you know where this is?
@@andrewdavy9921 I'm not sure andrew... Somewhere in Wales maybe? 🤔
its the penmaenpool bridge near dolgellau, Robert has a house down the coast, inbetween Machynlleth and Borth
@@i.c.g8557 thanks for the information
@@i.c.g8557 thanks
Two rock giants but two of the sweetest, humble guys of the genre. God bless them both!
2021 & the lead singers of my two favorite bands growing up are hanging together on a bridge, just crazy. What I wouldn't give to sit & have a drink with both of them. Man I love these videos!
👍🏽
Me too!
@Robert Plant Oh wow! Not sure who your response was addressed to, but I would love to be in on that!!
@Robert Plant Absolutely!!
Two insane rock and roll icons meeting face to face..priceless
Robert Plant i love listening to him
I've visited that area twice in the 90s. It feels like you've stepped back in time when you're there. It's just a magical place.
Love watching Brian Johnson's interviews please keep it up very enjoyable
Such beauty and serenity...How lovely it would be to walk over that bridge every morning and stroll along river's edge in the midst of total tranquility...
Thank you Robert for sharing your
🎶❤️ More💚 Than💛 Beautiful🧡
💙 Amazing 🖤Fabulous 🤍
🤎Perfecto 💜Lyrics & Music.❤️🎶
Brian Johnson must be so proud. Robert Plant makes such a lovely bride
So beautiful and love that outfit Robert!
I had a migraine till I watched this it totally blew my mind!
Two singers of the best rock bands ever. AC/DC and Led Zeppelin.
Surely you must mean,
Led Zeppelin and AC/DC?!
😬😏
AC/DC were great, but rather one dimensional with their power chord formula.
Zeppelin could do it all, and did, via three master musicians and one screaming banshee who could also sooth your soul.

Thanks for sharing great to see two Greats enjoying life together
This just in. Robert Plant is officially the greatest rock singer of all time. He has a freaking sword.
He is being interviewed by Brian Bloody Johnson, man used to canon fire.
" FOR THOSE ABOUT TO ROCK, WE SALUTE YOU. "
What a staggering place!!!!! Unbelievable views! I didn’t even know it existed and I’m from the UK? Think a visit is on the cards.
I feel like I have grown up with this guy (Robert). He's like a favorite uncle, getting on in years, but still awesome. Brian's a guy I'd definitely have a pint with. I'd love to be at a pub with them both and just listen to the stories.
An amazing man come a long way love the grey ❤❤🔥🔥
These two amazing legends that have created such a beautiful legacy. How much inspiration and happiness has their music created?
This old Celt wants to come home. Been gone from there for over 200 years. Just want to take in the scenery, the vibes as I prepare to leave this Building. All I want to hear is Led Zeppelin as I go.
LedHed Pb 207.20 🎶 🎸 🎹
2 absolute legends together, I absolutely love it.
@Robert Plant Great, thanks Rob, I assume it’s ok to call you Rob now that we are besties?
My Brother came back from Vietnam in 1969 and gave me my first Zeppelin album Physical Graffiti and I have been Loyal Fan ever since. I was eleven when my Awesome Brother introduced me to Zeppelin..🤘🤘🤘💞💞💞
Robert plant will always be handsome and so interesting, adore him!
Yes! He tells about things so well & sincere.
Yes he is so likeable
I totally agree. Such a wonderful, handsome and impressing man.
Totaly agree. A rock god with humility and no ego. Robert plant= legend.
@@colingeddes2172 yes I totally agree he is the only rocker I want to see before I die. I love him more now than when he was younger a true gentle soul!
One of the most influential singers in rock history with one of the best voices ever and some unknown Robert
Brian calling Robert "Me son" is just priceless 😄
This was the most stunning piece of TV I’ve seen Ever!!
It is always nice to hear stories from Robert Plant and it is cool, that he kept outfit from the movie The Song remains the same.
What a beautiful place🥰
This is a bit of why Robert Plant is so loved.
The admiration I’ve had for both of these men goes back about 40 years. 😁
Ah, the beauty of the Welsh countryside. Robert Plant makes an awesome tour guide who knows the location and the history. And Brian Johnson just happens to be out for a stroll.
@Robert Plant how does the song go when you're old and your eyes are dim, ain't no old shep gonna happen again, we'll still go walking down country lanes I'll sing the same old song hear me call your name, strider , ain't no companion like a blue eyed Merle, imagine seeing Robert there after some of them magic mushrooms, no one would ever believe you, legend
@Robert Plant I wish this was the real Robert plant but I would imagine he'd have better things to do, anyway if it's really you, amazing that you've replyed but obviously it's a scam which is an unfortunate end to a great piece of TV, love it
@Robert Plant no
@@rondavidson8673 hahaha👍👍😁
when u grew up partly thinkin rock really is so dark with the people around it,but to see these men finding their peace makes me think twice.
I love you Robert! I grew up listening to your music. I would be lost without you and your wonderful band Led Zeppelin ❤ I wish I could see you someday on that very bridge 🙏
Keep on smiling and laughing
its the key to long life
Always I will love Led Zeppelin
💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛
Sooo true Tina. I cannot imagine life without Led Zeppelins music. As Prince said..." Led Zeppelin can make you feel different emotions with EVERY track."
The last time I saw Robert Plant was back in 2008. He was in Nashville and on stage with Alison Krauss.
Great Show!!
I would love to live there. I have scot and irish heritage and these sights melt my heart.
I’m a huge AC/DC fan and I just submitted an application for them to be nominated for the Kennedy Center Honors after watching the Led Zeppelin tribute in 2012. I would be so emotional watching Brian Johnson in the same position that Robert was with tears in his eyes at the ceremony. They deserve an award like that. 🤘⚡️🎸
This will be one of the greatest moments in Rock and Roll............
If I was taking a casual stroll across some old bridge and came across Robert Plant chatting with Brian Johnson I think I would pass out.
Epic meeting of two Rock Gods on Penmaenpool Bridge below the northern slopes of Cader Idris.
Great to see Roberts acknowledgement of this part of North Wales, and the influence on the music in his Rock heyday. Being a lover of the Welsh landscape, and a LZ fan since 1969, I always smile when driving along this road.
Just stumbled onto this, and just knowing it exists makes me happy.
Believe it or not! As I clicked on this video, Stairway to Heaven played from my radio simultaneously!
That location looks beautiful ! I would love to be able to visit, to photograph the area ! Both seem so genuine, and have an appreciation for the outdoors !
I rode my bike across that bridge the other day. I would have thought I was hallucinating if I'd seen these two legends taking a stroll across it 😳😄
Haha right? Xd
lol Hes bathing in celtic history and mythology in the land of our fathers, cymru , bless his mystical soul and brian too , uber legends x
Fantastic, a friend of mine was Robert's neighbour, we play a bit of music together now and then, Caitlin Halliwell who broke my heart but I am over that now. It looks like a heavenly earthly paradise there...
Never heard nothing bad about Robert. Just a laid back kinda of guy who enjoying life as is one day at a time.
Here's something bad: he failed doing "Innuendo'' at Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert at Wembley. But that's forgiven. No-one can do that song, but Freddie Mercury himself.
@@alexandergenov I doubt even Freddie could've sang Innuendo close to the studio recording, it's just too tough to sing live. Robert did attempt it and failed, but I can't imagine anyone doing it justice live
@@alex.starostin it also didnt help that he was 20 years out of his prime
@@anthonykargoglou7205 sure thing
Brian Johnson is a good guy like that as well.
looking at this 2 old man, make me really sad when they gone😭
Robert sure is a strapping man so interesting still has the looks😍❤
Robert thank you for sharing! Its beautiful there!
Robert Plant really is a Rock God.
@Robert Plant Thank you. But I'm sorry, I do not believe you are Robert Plant. However this channel is much appreciated. I hope Robert continues in good health and good blessing. His voice, his words, his life in some wonderful way was a part of mine.
Its been quite a while since I've seen "the song remains the same ", it's an outstanding film, would love to see it again. These 2 men are rr legends from my early years
