Conor Anthony McGregor (born 14 July 1988) is an Irish professional mixed martial artist. He is a former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight and lightweight double-champion. He is also the former Cage Warriors featherweight and lightweight champion. As of 19 July 2021, he is No. 9 in the UFC lightweight rankings.
Michael Chandler (born April 24, 1986) is an American professional mixed martial artist who currently competes in the lightweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). A professional competitor since 2009, Chandler first gained notoriety when he began competing for Bellator MMA from 2010 to 2020. There, Chandler became a three-time Bellator Lightweight Champion and was the winner of the Bellator Season Four Lightweight Tournament, and held a promotional win-loss record of 18-5. Since arriving to the UFC in 2020, Chandler has challenged for the UFC Lightweight Championship and also knocked out top contender Dan Hooker. He also competed in collegiate wrestling out of the University of Missouri, where he earned NCAA Division I All-American honors. As of November 2, 2021, he is #5 in the UFC lightweight rankings.

Conor needs to find his hunger again, very hard for someone that has achieved what he set out to do.
What hunger? Beating Cowboy & Alvarez past their primes didn't need hunger. Dude was a 145 weight bully. The Ls came as soon as he fought close to his natural weight. Lost to Diaz then (literally!) ran from him in the rematch and was gifted a decision win. Mauled by Khabib. KO'd by Dustin then crippled in the rematch. Honestly, I see Chandler breaking his other leg. Conor is done.

In all the ‘recent’ training clips Connor (unfortunately) looks slow and stilted in his punching and movement. Maybe he is still recovering but it ‘feels’ like he has surrounded himself with ‘yes’ men who are soft on him. He needs a beast of a training camp with sparring partners who are both 1. bigger & heavier hitters than him & 2. Lighter and faster than him; all of whom are being paid to try and take his head off.
He's basically too comfortable now. On grade A growth hormone and grade A steroids. He's no longer hungry. He will lose and this will be the last we see of him in the octagon. Totally agree he needs a horrible brutal savage training camp to make a come back. Basically he needs to get his ass kicked for the whole camp

His precision punching and kicking is perfect for destroying a brawler like Chandler. You can’t just trust your chin against Conor, or you will be knocked out. Mcgregor wins in spectacular fashion. I’m really not sure why everyone thinks he’s on steroids. He’s not that big. He normally walks around at 170. With consistent weight training and the right diet, bulking up to 190 200 is not that unrealistic.

I have been very critical of Conor but I think he will shock us all again. I think he will destroy Chandler. In this video I saw some shadow boxing that showed speed and torque. I saw bobbing and weaving like Tyson. I think he could even beat Edward at 170. And I know my stuff.
