@@KatarinaWestRE How is the healthcare in the area? We currently live in the Raleigh NC area and the growth here has exploded and it can be a six month wait to see a specialist. We're retirees and healthcare gets to be more front and center as people get older.
@@debra2700 Great, and important, question! The growth has also exploded here, so I've heard people have had trouble getting in with a primary care doctor and having to wait for a few months. But waits to see specialists aren't as bad from my experience. My grandmother has a few specialists and always seems to get in quickly, and same when my husband needed spine surgery. MUSC and Roper are well regarded here so it might be worth giving them a call to interview their specialists to find out who you like better and what their wait times are as I'm sure it varies with departments.
Thank you for the great info! Much appreciated! Do you have to live in Charleston County to apply for Academic Magnet School? Or can you live in Summerville and still qualify?
Of course, glad you enjoyed it! Upon further research you do have to live in Charleston County to apply, so I have removed that part of my video. So sorry for the misinformation! Here is a link to more information on schools in Summerville: www.greatschools.org/south-carolina/summerville/. Schooldigger.com is another great resource.
Thank you for the advice. Very helpful. Plus, you have one of the nicest voices I’ve ever heard.
Thank you, I'm glad you found it helpful. And aw thank you!

Love how you always emphasize the importance of proper insurances. I know you learned that first-hand.
Thank you! Yes for sure.. you don't realize how important it is until you need it.
I loved your videos, great inspiration to do something similar here in Brazil! thanks
Thank you so much! You totally should!
My worries here are mainly the traffic, rising population, and overpopulated schools. Otherwise I'm looking forward to checking out the area.
Valid concerns for sure. But hope you enjoy it!!
