This is AWESOME!!! I have often wondered why there don't seem to be many good videos on how to work with a metronome. You explain it so well. I know I am going to watch this over and over. Thank you for creating such amazing educational content, you are really rocking it!
I actually had a long discussion a couple of days ago with my husband (who plays drums) re timing and using my metronome, which I hate using because I find it invasive and annoying . I love your suggestion to halve and quarter the clicks. Makes so much sense. I have timing problems so I'll be giving those tips a go!
Thanks David. Best metronome lesson I've ever watched.

Great video David. The no.1 problem of 90% musicians I meet is the rhytm. I am gonna send this video to all of them :-D
It would be awesome if you could some jazz tutorials on the channel
I'm glad I'm not the only who has a hard time starting the count for the off beat click. 😉😊
Super helpful!
YES. It's the only way.
I always think of Homer & Jethro & what Homer told a fan who said his timing was like a metronome. He said, "thanks but a metronome don't swing".
what tune were you playing
For all the Rushin' Draggin's out there (it's me, I"m one of them)
