There’s never a dull moment on this ch forever my top 5 and nick you work so hard at this and you interact with us all mostly another reason your in my top 5 you just always take some time to talk to us or answer questions DONT MATTER HOW BIG YOUR GETTING!!! TOP 5 FOREVER
Congratulations to the crew of the Broad Minded for taking first place overall in the Islamorada Bartender's Sailfish Open!!! Also Congratulations to Elisabeth for her winning Tuna in the Poor Girls Sailfish Tournament!!! That Ocean looked rough on both days , but especially on the second tournament. Have to say though, as a land locked prairie Lad I think there is no place I can think of away from the sea of fields to be then the actual Ocean, no matter the conditions something stirs is my heart and soul watching the waves collide into the boat and the heaving of the waves and swells. Must make you feel so small being a spec in the middle of nothing but angry water, but I'm pretty sure I'd be very happy out there!! Cheers from Westlock Alberta, Canada Home of the World Record Fastest Harvest, set in 1998.
New to your channel but not new to the keys around bud and Mary’s. Enjoy your videos and it’s awesome that you keep family and friends involved in your daily activities. Keep up the good work We really like your videos. 👍
Those rough days make it special, man! When you're taking rollers over the bow on a boat that size, you know it's rough! The stuff we'll do for a tournament, that we wouldn't do just for "fun", right?
Loved the video. It is a dream to go fishing like that. I get so motion sick but it doesn’t stop me from the thrill of going on the ocean. Have you ever been fearful of the weather while out fishing?
Congratz guys, nice video! I guess once you do it everyday it becomes routine.. just keeping the fingers crossed 🤞🏼🤞🏼to be at the right spot at the right time. 💪🏻
Well done once again on your footage and competitive success. I'm sure you were happy to be on a cat in that rough stuff, most of you would have rolled overboard on a mono hull. One can clearly see on the video's how stable the cat is.
That sea would be a calm nice day off the oregon coast. They should try a 12 foot swell with a 2 foot wind chop, and we fish in those conditions 50 % of the time. If you wait for calm conditions on the northwest pacific you will never be doing any fishing.
The 40’s are nice, single speed kinda suck, just preference. From personal Xp you need a sturdy stick when fishing the 40’s, anything over 200 1x3’s are not matched. But the Penn 60’s… those babies are exceptional reels for trolling, and heavy jig dropping or heavy sinker set up.
Nick, do you have an inverter on the Freeman? Would help with charging batteries, cellphones, speakers n such... just something we take with us on the lake.
Ok I've never fished offshore - I'm just a Zimbabwean casual bass fisherman so dont be harsh on me!! I understand the touching of the leader to count as a fish caught but how do you get the hook out the fish?? .
glad to see my man Roy. we need him back in the action, pissing off UA-cam viewers so the other percentage of us can enjoy an annoyed comment section . . .
Last time I was in the keys diving and heard the word “sporty” was just like that. 4-6 with the occasional 7/8 footer. I learned a lot about my digestive tract on that trip. Yup sure did!
I don't understand how the touching of the leader counts as a caught fish. There is no measurements or weight requirements? How do people who regulate the tournaments no u even caught the fish? I'm just curious as to how that works?
We catch and release sailfish. There’s a set of guidelines/rules from the IGFA we abide by in tournaments. Length of leader etc. Just have to touch the leader for a release
6 or 7 foot is rough ? You Atlantic guys need to learn what being out on the ocean is like. 6-7 foot is a mild, calm day on the Pacific and I've been fishing when it was 25 foot plus. Tip, when you can look up and see water....it's rough.
Congratulations, Nick & crew. That ocean looked rough! Way to work together and get it done! Have a Blessed Day 😊🐠
Sheeeeeeessssshhhhh! That 2nd day could have passed for an episode of the Deadliest Catch. Great video and congrats!
Always a pleasure fishing with my brother!!!
It was a pleasure meeting you and Sadie yesterday. Look forward to seeing your next video.
Thanks Tony! Good meeting you

I like seeing big catches hung from boats coming in 🦈🐋🐠🐡🐟
15:56 holy smoke nasty wave! When it looks rough on camera, it was WAY worse in person. Congrats on the win!
WAR EAGLE!!! Your buddy had on the Auburn sweatshirt, that’s where we live! The wife and I both went to school there! Super cool!
Well done nick crushing it as usual 👍👍👍👍🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪

Congrats! Love the video! Those waves looked brutal!!!
Yayyyy another episode feels like forever since the last upload
Great job captain 👍🏾
Beautiful ladies and gentlemen...Love the seat...It would be incredible to have a transparent bubble shield pulled down on windy days and flying back
Nice to meet you yesterday at the Marina!!
Yall killed it!!
Thanks for saying hey 👊🏻

Hey one question during minute 14.58 and 15.04 something jumped out of the water...
Her first sail?! Did she go swimming?
Coming down next week with my son hoping to catch ya at the dock
Damn a seakeeper would have come in clutch!
Awesome! Can't wait to watch
That was pretty cool but I was getting a little sea sick watching the waves and the boat rolling sitting in the dining room
Wow. Congratulations 🍾
Sweet Flags !!!!
Considered whether that you had seven foot swells you done really good but really handled it great

View from tower reminds me of cobra trakin. Surreal stye.
Where did you get that bait net from ?
Red skies in morning, sailors be warning.
Nick, do you have an inverter on the Freeman? Would help with charging batteries, cellphones, speakers n such...
just something we take with us on the lake.
I do , just hard to go up and down and charge the camera , especially when fishing a tournament
I'm getting my scuba certification in July I have to do my open water dive where you guys are at
Awesome! Good luck!
Rough as a cob Capt!!!!
That is a prime example of rough conditions.
Congrats these are what my dreams are made of .
What’s that farrot growing in your upper lip
😂
That’s awesome!! Wish I was on the boat…
It would be nice if you caught a 1000 pound blue fin tuna!
What type of rig were you using with the cork ?
Congratulations brother
Well Done to Y'all,, 👍🍀
I abolutely hate tge practice of snapping off sails and leaving hooks in them but good job.
Great job captain
Ok I've never fished offshore - I'm just a Zimbabwean casual bass fisherman so dont be harsh on me!! I understand the touching of the leader to count as a fish caught but how do you get the hook out the fish?? .
If touching the leader is a catch, you should just spool your reels with all leader. It’s just crazy enough to work!😂
Wou ! Biển trong xanh , đẹp quá ! 👍
Yes bro keep up the great work
glad to see my man Roy. we need him back in the action, pissing off UA-cam viewers so the other percentage of us can enjoy an annoyed comment section . . .
I live for this. 6 footer I'm on the bow
🤣Love seeing your lucky banana 🍌 Great suit for you Stanzman😎
Congratulations
Sporty indeed!
Last time I was in the keys diving and heard the word “sporty” was just like that. 4-6 with the occasional 7/8 footer. I learned a lot about my digestive tract on that trip. Yup sure did!
Stay safe.
Nick you need a Sea-keeper bro
hey Cap, did not catch the name of the bait /$100 - doz?? what type ?
Goggle eye
@@StanzFam thanks
@@StanzFam very similar to the mackerel scad used in Hawaii for yellowfin. They are called ' opelu ' in Hawaii
Thats the biggest black fin ive ever seen
I don't understand how the touching of the leader counts as a caught fish. There is no measurements or weight requirements?
How do people who regulate the tournaments no u even caught the fish?
I'm just curious as to how that works?
Wait how does it count if it’s not landed, I didn’t see any fish on the boat, I’m confused.
We catch and release sailfish. There’s a set of guidelines/rules from the IGFA we abide by in tournaments. Length of leader etc.
Just have to touch the leader for a release
Coul you indicate type of rod used?
Congratulations from Panama
They are our 20 lb STANZ rods. The conventional kite rods and our spinning rods
Do the big Yellofins ever come your way or no?
A boat caught one last week while sailfishing but it’s very rare. Only a few ever caught at the marina like that
I love you guys I want to go fishing with you soon
Isn’t Dawson back in town
Burası neresi orayı da fet edelim.
PS I sent the Dawson comment before you said something about Dawson in the video
I feel cheated…we didn’t get to see the xxx stache 🤣
😂😂😂
I want to eat tuna o-toro 🍣🍣🍣
💯💪🏾👍🏽👍🏽
Dawson cleaning the boat? Said no one about Bean... EVER! But he was still the best mate that never did any work.... just sayin
Where is Jamaican Mike
1st comment 🙃

Big difference between slow rollers spaced out and waves breaking over the bow
nasty sea
Wendrf like
$100 a dozen? did joe biden increase your bait prices like he did the gas?
I guess you are as clueless about bait price as to the gas price … but oh well let’s go Brandon is your motto I guess
