The employment rules need to be revisited such that companies canno be over burdened by past exhorbitant pay or costs versus competition, and similarly that would allow new technologies to be implemented. The train transport issue is significant. Train journeys have costs to and from the station, never mind the ticket price. The extortionate cost of travel prevents people moving away from cars etc. Green policies - people should think about what would really benefit the environment. If a very polluting car drives 100 miles per year, versus a green car that created much pollution in its making , which is more environmentally friendly - keeping the old car or making a new one. Ways of allowing transport such as ebikes etc needs to be addressed. As I have got older, I increasingly feel that governments generally are made up of 5 year olds who have been given the keys to their dad's mercedes. They are interested in fighting opposition parties (though important to the extent of implementing policies), rather than aiming for and guiding the national good. (On the latter, I think Rishi's anti-smoking policy was a great change - shame it is not banning smoking, but a great step forward in preventing further disease, even if 36000+ people die of COPD every year alone , without considering morbidity or other health impacts and costs.)
