thats a creative way to use both the tracks and the new road system. good space saver. since the train is running next to the road, a wall or a fence or something that helps separate the road from the tracks. more safety for the lego city people.
Tiling in between train tracks makes into very convincing tram tracks. The new road plates lend themselves to this very well and are very versatile. Love the changes 👍
Emily I love the train being integrated with the down town and having the track almost hidden with the tiles looks so slick and seamless. Wolfie approves.
That looks great with the tracks in the street! I made a monorail track over my City for Philly Brick Fest 2019, but never considered this! Keep up the good work!
Wow this looks beautiful! Just one suggestion: you would be able to save all those 2x4 plates in between tracks just by using 1x4 tiles on top instead of those 1x2s. I think larger tiles (this with fewer gaps in between pieces) would make your layout look even more nice and tidy:)
This looks great, I recently watched a tutorial by Bevins Bricks that was similar. I also loved the median you had between the roads so here’s an idea, what if you put a median on Both sides of the tracks? It would take up a lot of space but it would look So good with adding the street lights back in and a few weeds between the rails. And it would be much safer for the pedestrians! Lol
It looks awesome. Your city grows and the train tracks in the streets is an good idea for cable cars. Nice work !!! greetings from germany and my lil´ lego city, Mupi-Town
Nice. That is also the only train I own so it is almost like you’ve done a mock placement for me. I will probably only have one strip of road running with the track but the two sections look great together.
Just because your Disney / Town sets are separate themes in the real world, it makes sense to combine them to create your own vision. The downtown shops could be an extension of Disney World such as it is in Disney Epcot Center.
Oh my god I literally watched a Video how to do the Road train tracks yesterday it’s so awsome I‘m thinking about building a season 3 Ninjago City Moc but I unfortunately don’t have the time and money to do it and only a Space of 12 32x32 Baseplates🤔🧐🤨😳😂
Always love seeing you and Ross create your cities. One question I have is how do you do turns on roads if the tracks are in them like yours? It’s a problem I’ve encountered I haven’t been able to solve yet. Thx so much for all you’ve done for the Lego community!
I‘m still so jealous of all those modulars and sorry but It bugs me everytime how the bookshop and the police station are oriented. Yeah that’s the imminent problem of the train tracks that they put curves and straights in one box 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ that‘s so dum. If they sold both curves and straights as two separate Sets for half the price they would make millions more 🤷♂️🤦♂️😂🤑🤑🤑🤑 I‘m actually a huge train fan but the trains on shelves right now are not thaaat awsome and very expensive + the train tracks are so darn expensive
It looks so good!! Amazing job
Fantastic update for the city 😊😊
Ayyyy it looks amazing!
This is one of the reasons why I love these road plates better then the old ones. You can customize them any way you like.😄 great built
Me too!

This is so cool!! It looks so sleek and VERY Disney 🤩
Congratulations on 10k and keep up the great work
This idea is amazing 🙂👍👍👍👍, 🚂
The train going through the city looks amazing!
Oh my goodness!!! This literally looks similar to the roads in Disneyland!
I love how she refers to the minifigures as people and what they can do😝😃
This looks SO clean and slick. What an awesome idea.

Wow! Great idea!
The train looks nice
I love how it turned out! It’s cool that it’s able to connect between the road plates
Love it ... a city build is in my near future
Nice train cam, reminds me of Jack London in Oakland California

Thanks! We need to make a bricklink order for more large tiles soon, so that'll be something good to try once we get some 😄
The new train layout looks amazing. Well done! :-)
That looks awesome I’ve always wanted to build a tram to go around my city

"I don't want anyone getting hurt in lady burg". Made me laugh because my lego town has so much chaos happening.
All those 1x2 dark bluish grey tiles 😱🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑😂
Congrats on 10k subs
I love train content!!! The Maersk was my holy grail until I got it. Now the Santa Fe is my white whale. Great content as always congrats on 10k
Looking great.

Woah that looks way better than I thought it would look
I think the first few months stuck at Disney world wouldn’t be too bad 😂😂😂
I love it ! Very nice idea your train rail
I really like this idea!!

Yes let’s all like the smash button!!!
That is a great idea 💡

That’s so cool
Wow cool techniques.
Wow it looks great job

This technique would be good for Disney mocs
P. S great job 👌👍😎☺️😀👌 Emily
You should put the Super Mario pipe opening back in town 😜 (near some turtles)
Honestly, this might be incredibly off-topic, but the train driving right through the city like that reminds me of Project G-1’s city design.
If I wanted the train to go around the castle and train station for display purposes, about how many boxes of the train racks should I get?
If you raise the plates by one plate it would be flush with the road and then it would be more realistic
Pizza van needs a driver 😉
I liked the smash button.
4:35 you mean something like a tram right
What happened to the dog park??
It's still in the works! We just had to move it somewhere else.
Remember to like the smash button
🇩🇰🚂🇩🇰Nice🥰
