- A compilation of Sam Riegel and Liam O'Brien of Critical Role being adorable and ridiculous.
If you like my content, consider leaving me a tip: ko-fi.com/worr...
I don't put ads on my videos, so I would appreciate any support!
All clips are from Critical Role ( / criticalrole ) and Geek & Sundry ( / geekandsundry ) except for the second one, which is from SacAnime 2010 ( • SacAnime 2010 Voice Ac... ).
I love the slow transformation from man-wife to boyfriend to husband
And than to all sorts of other pet names
stages of watching critical role: 1. Sam and Liam are husbands 2. Wait, no they're not 3. Sam and Liam are husbands
It’s so true
Exactly! And the same goes for the twins: 1. Laura and Liam are siblings 2. Wait, no they're not 3. Laura and Liam are siblings
LEGIT
That's it. That's literally it.
ORYM AND F.C.G IS GO!
Amy: This is my husband Liam, this is Liam's husband Sam, and this is Sam's wife Quyen :)
Polyamory is fun.
Momlan is adorable about it on twitter as well :D
Wait have you seen the comments of liams new post on Instagram?
You have no idea how much I love this comment
@@blakelyedit no can you recite it?
if their characters dont end up romancing eachother in campaign 3 i say we riot
Things I want for campaign 3:
1. Liam plays a woman (bard??)
2. Sam and Liam romance each other’s characters.
That’s it that’s all I want
@@worryfornaught Liam will play his death Cleric again I think
They are definitely long overdue.
Liam could play a female fighter and Sam a sorcerer who tries to seduce Liam's char with his high charisma all the time. A female barbarian might be best but it would just seem like a copy of yasha so I doubt he goes there.
i’d love some mlm characters in the form of the man-wives
What two men that are very comfortable with their sexuality look like.
Yeah, you're not really manly until you're brave enough to marry another man, obviously
@@comicstrider4851 yeah actually
Sure, Laura and Travis are cute, and Matt and Marisha are adorable, and Ashley and Cabbage-Man are sweet, but everyone knows that Sam and Liam are the best critical role couple.
Sometimes I feel bad for Ashley, because she is the only one whose SO is not on the cast. I would include Taliesin, but his SO is probably an eldritch being so unfathomable that it is everywhere and nowhere all at once.
@@Valsharoth to be fair Sam and Liams OTHER spouses also don’t play so she’s not alone in that, and considering all the work he does for talks and stuff I’m sure here’s still around all the time on top of them living together
Laura and Travis? nonono. Everyone is married to Laura Bailey, except Travis.
@@Kalenz1234 Including Laura Bailey
@@mast3734 i think lisa is single. i heard she likes to dance at... clubs.
critical role is weird, if you just start, you do think liam and sam are married and that liam and laura are siblings, later on you find out that they arent really and once your fully in it makes more sense that they are married and siblings
“...it makes more sense that they are married and siblings.”
@@gav7497 don't take it out of context, dude.
@@gav7497 *Sweet home Alabama*
for the longest time i believed that sam and liam were actually married! even when i figured out that liam and laura weren't actually siblings, i still believed that liam and sam were husbands and the day i found out they weren't i mourned 😂
I thought Liam and Marisha were siblings, they have such a strong close sibling energy on the show.
When I first entered into the fandom years and years ago I was worried that people were doing the uncomfortable real-people-shipping thing with Sam and Liam, and it only took a few episodes to realize that no, they actually are Just Like That
They're friendship is profound
*I'll hold it in this time*
The best bromance
@@wavetech_ It hurts, GOD IT HURTS. But it's just so wholesome I can't bring myself to do it.
Yep, they’re besties :)
The title was cut off, so I thought it said 2 and a Half HOURS. And there was not a moment where I doubted that there was that much content.
And to think, you actually clicked on the video anyways lmao
@@frieddogmeat3234 Who wouldn't? 😂
The wifes are just sipping tea and gossiping while there husband just kiss a bit and its just so normal lol 💞
These men both have families! And it’s so great that they accept their husbands husbands
When I first started watching there was a period of time where I legit thought they were a couple lmao they’re very sweet with each other 😭
Yup...
Didnt everyone think that. Gay scholars of the distant future are gna be so made
OH MY GOD same, yes, for like at least a month or two I was sure they were married lmao
Ah lovable work husbands
It's so enjoyable to watch them be an old married couple for 2 minutes.
I did not know that clip of Liam and Sam kissing existed and omg I screamed in delight
So glad I get to introduce people to it! I lost my shit when I first saw it. You should definitely check out the stream it’s from (m.twitch.tv/videos/358554957 ), the little “skits” they do are pure gold
Sammmmme i was like " *squeal* wait WAit WAIT whaaaaaat why have I not seen this"
@@worryfornaught is there a youtube version of that video? Not a twitch sub D:
S A M EEEEE
Friendly reminder that we should respect their privacy and not try to figure out their "real" relationship dynamic. They are real people with real feelings and deserve privacy just as much as everyone else, even if they're celebrities and/or very online. :) The cast have made it clear that they feel uncomfortable people shipping them and their friends (although, I'm sure it's alright to think Marisha+Matthew and Travis+Laura are cute together, as they are married).
I'm just imagining going back to twenty years ago and telling myself that, in the future, men having a loving and affection friendship is not only allowed, but encouraged by a good portion of the world. Even without the no homo disclaimer!
I know this is an old comment, but 20 years ago it was the 90s, and 40 years ago the 70s. The world was far more tolerate back then. =/
@@winkbrace What are you on about?
@@sybariticcupboardrat3763 I guess it depends on the country you live in.
@@winkbrace Bump and only an anecdote, but my dad grew up in the 70s and he would def not support something like this, esp between two (probably?) fully straight men
I love that they genuinely are best friends, I remember a video of Sam and his wife at his house doing some announcement and liam was just there with them enjoying the company
I like how each pet name is for a specific situation. Like when he's trying to get his attention, it's "Husband!" but when they're toasting to something, it's always "Cheers, dear."
I legitimately thought they were a couple for an entire year until I started hearing their podcast and discovered they werent.
Wait wait, they aren't??? D:
They are both our dads and our relationship goals
Legit saw how long the vid was and thought, “that’s it?” 😂
this video is THEE pinnacle of critrole content, thank you so much for making it
Aww thank you! Glad you enjoyed :)
Are you even watching critical role if you don't find out later that Laura and Liam aren't related and Sam isn't married to Liam irl. What experience would that be.
It took me an embarrassingly long time to work out the actual relationship status of everyone on Critical Role. No joke, probably not until episode 40 of C2.
I am envious of their friendship honestly
Them: haha we’re just friends who are so close we like to say we’re a couple!
Also them: literally kiss each other
Me: huh, ok
Toxic Masculinity has been flung out the 100th story window and obliterated into a black hole! These two are just wonderful lol
Sam and Liam Calling Each Other Pet Names For 2 and a Half Minutes """"Straight""""
When I was first introduced to CR, I think I was about 50 episodes in before I realized they weren’t an IRL couple. I figured Matt+Marisha, Ashley+Brian, Laura+Travis, so of course Sam and Liam were married.
Marisha, not Mariana
@@monican88 haha typo
I was definitely under the assumption that Tal + Matt + Marisha was a thing for ages. 😅
@@Amoechicktbh Taliesin has sexual chemistry with everyone
If they ever made out, I wouldn’t be surprised.
The clip where Sam was leaning in, it actually surprised me that they didn't make out xD
As someone who appreciates the no homo but still affection dynamic I can’t see it.
are you saving that wish for me?
and his last wish was for him
I’m glad I’m not the only one with a man husband
Get yourself a friend you can be “married” to like this
Trust me, I have one and it’s FUN
Wholeheartedly agree. I'm basically in a romantic relationship with my bestie of 24 years and it is more fulfilling than any actual relationship I've ever had lmao. It is the absolute best.
they reveal their campaign 3 characters are a married couple and no one is surprised
Omg, I would love that 😱😭😍😍
WAIT ACTUALLY?
is this true (i typed it all in caps the first time, erased and then retyped it in lowercase bc i am a very calm individual)
@@k.whatever9046 no i was just making a joke
@@alexanderjones5109ah okay. i hope they do do that tho
Two bros, chillin' on a web show. One seat apart 'cause they're not gay.
Referring to your friends by "romantic" petnames is pure serotonin.
I was honestly, for the longest time, completely convinced that they were an actual couple.
At this point I'm at least 75% certain that they are actually married and in a secondary polyamorous relationship outside of their very supportive wives and that they use the bit to cover it up and pretend it's just a joke.
I've thought for a long time that they are in a romantic relationship (not necessary sexual or physical) and that their wives are totally cool with it but they used the bit as a way to test the waters and see if people would be accepting of it.
@@evalynn1863 With as much of a Linguist as Liam is, I don't for a second think him saying "I'm in love with Sam Riegel" as opposed to "I love Sam riegel" was an accident. Even if they aren't necessarily sexual (which...is up for debate) they almost definitely are romantic
@@poofballoon oh, 100% understood and not at all my intent, just a comment on the closeness of their relationship. What their lives are make no difference to me one way or another and I know that's none of my business. Also, I would like to make it clear that I am not "shipping" Sam and Liam in any way, I personally hate it when I see people ship celebrities and real people with each other, it's extremely disrespectful and makes it seem like those people's real feelings don't matter. Thank you for pointing this out though, I really just meant to comment on how close they are and how similar their relationship is to the dynamic of many romantic relationships. Truly, I'm just happy to be able to see a relationship between two men who are friends and who clearly love each other very much, and am aware that their privacy is important.
@@FigurativeCritter Yeah, no worries :)
This is the same energy as me and my best friend calling each other "wife" and being gay when we literally have boyfriends
I swear.if these two didnt already have committed loving families.
Theyd have a family of their own.
This is my favorite video that exists.
0:35 Travis was not expecting that "babe"
Did anyone else actually think they were dating when you first watched the show? My parents had to explain it to me
Someone on the outside would not doubt for a *second* that these two are married
Genuinely one of my favorite relationships in the entire world.
I was shocked when I found that Liam and Sam weren’t married to each other and also when I found out Liam and Laura weren’t biological siblings.
this is just...PURE serotonine
It looks like friendship but I can literally feel the sexual tension.
some of it looks like funny friendship things and in other instances it literally looks like they like each other
@@unfinishedfruitloops7348 We will never know. 😂
Just love!!
Alternative title is Liam being a cutsy friend
May I just say thank you for this gem, you precious human being.
this MADE ME SO HAPPY I LOVE THEMMM 💖💖💖
I thought they were dating when I first started watching lmao
when i didnt know about critical role, i saw clips of them and thought they were genuinely married. after watching it, i still do.
I know this is just for shits and giggles, but oh my deary me, is this adorable!
I was not expecting the kiss at the end!! Wonderful
"2 and a half Minutes straight" Never has a lie of this caliber been uttered.
I love, thank you for making this!
I can’t stop smiling at this video.
This is friendship goals
Honestly seeing this its hard to believe that they arent married
except when you know that they both Are already married with a wife and kids. but I just love the affectionate vibes so much.
They're the only ones where their significant others aren't involved in DND with them, so they have each other.
I didn't know I needed this
I aspire to have that kind of friendship with someone
"I'm sam Riegels husband and I approve this message"
After Liam became President and all that fun stuff after i checked his Wikipedia for the spouse section. My first thought was that they are amazing actors but by now i know its genuine love
I know they’re just friends, it’s just they have a really close relationship, but I can’t help but wonder if it actually is some kind of polyamorous thing, either way I support them but still I can’t stop myself from wondering lol
Their love for each other is the best
I literally thought Sam and Liam were married for like the first 4 or 5 months of me watching critical role
this is a perfectly normal experience, haha
I literally choked on my straw when they kissed like ok sure thats a thing that can happen
Love the ending
Honestly thats the exact relationship i have with all my friends
I imagine they've had the Scrubs conversation more than once.
Sam: How come you don't point out when I ask good questions?
Quyen: Because I don't love you like he does.
Liam: Told you.
This is actual friendship goals😂
did not expect them to peck at the end
There was a reason I thought they were married when I first started watching.
I want what they have
God these two are so cute, and I'm so glad that their wives find this charming and possibly funny at the same time 😗
This vid is just 👌👀
I hope their podcast comes back!
I though they were actually married when I started Critical Roll.
Best kind of friends
Couple goals
I’d ship it but they already do
Not gonna lie, I want what they have with a special friend
If only...
Hooray for faux gay! There's something about close male friendships that is comforting. Don't tell all men I don't think I could handle all men learning the cheat code.
I think the funniest part of all of this was Sam in bed
You forgot the time Liam called Sam "pickle".
Aww when was that?
Are you sure it's 2 and a half minutes STRAIGHT?
Not that you should all look at time stamp 0:49, but that is A LOT of underthigh...
could you tell me which video 1:18 is from?
Here! ua-cam.com/video/FJRtjS6k0sI/v-deo.html 59 minutes in
Worry For Naught thank you! and thanks for making this cute video !!
I really thought they were a couple!
What’s so funny about this is that they are both married to different women
*me not sure if their an actual couple for the 2 mins and 15 seconds*
they kiss
OH SHIT its offical
These 2 straight (?) married men have better chmistry than many gay couples.
i got the stupid dnd beyond presidential campaign spoiled for me and i cannot believe im a little sad about it 😂😂😂
soft :o
100th comment, love this shit 😍❤
i only now know of this is it true
is it not a joke
